Dual Comfort DO-SC22Z9 (21.2kW)After went through all the ups and downs, the unit was finally fixed right before Christmas. It has been working well since then. Quite happy with it. Agree with the other comments, it would be even better if it has a soft starter installed. Heavy starting noise when cycle starts. Other then this, it does its job.

Loud bang on start up of each cycle
Dual Comfort DO-SC22Z9 (21.2kW)This unit gives a loud bang each time the cooling cycle starts. It was installed as part of my new house package and was meant to be an upgrade.
Due to its location the outdoor setting is not guest friendly. The sound is like somebody hitting a car bonnet with a hammer.
It is a shame because the unit works very well otherwise. I have told my builder it is not fit for purpose and needs to be dealt with or replaced. I agree with the other review. Needs a soft starter.
Very noisy
Dual Comfort DO-SC22Z9 (21.2kW)The unit itself works quite well. The problem is a loud bang from the compressor (best described as a slamming door) every time the unit cycles on. After investigating myself I have added a soft starter that has fixed the problem. Brivis stated that they wouldn't add a soft starter as it would damage the compressor. The soft start company said they disagree and that the soft starter would actually benefit the compressor. I have probably voided my warranty but I can now use the unit through the night. Would have given an excellent review if Brivis had installed a soft starter (approx $200) and I still had a warranty.
