Finally, a pram that works for us!
it's been quite a journey to a pram that works for us and our baby… we bought a phil and teds dot before our son was born and he hated it from day one… we bought a smaller stroller for the car, which was ok, but was difficult to manoeuvre. eventually, i sold both of these prams and shelled out for the bugaboo bee plus. i am so glad that i did… here's why!
it is so unbelievably easy to assemble and disassemble. you can do it with one hand, holding the baby with the other hand. getting in and out of cars is super easy, too… so, no need for a h...Read more
ouse pram and a car pram. and we have a small car (VW golf, with limited boot space), so that was important… it has a huge storage basket, so all of your bits and pieces can come along for the ride. the seat faces forward or backwards, sitting either really quite upright or reclining when asleep, at the pull of a lever. there is a removable liner, for messy kids and easy cleaning. the buckle is easy to use and adjust, as well as being comfortable for the bub… we purchased the sun shade, which was a great idea for australia. when it's really hot and sunny, our child is completely covered and shielded, which was important for us. he can see out the mesh sides, so he's happy, too. the handlebar is easily adjustable, to a substantial height, so my husband, who is 6'4" finds it comfortable to push.1 comment

Back to the Bee and very happy!
So, I posted a previous review for the Bee Plus back in Jan, but we actually ended up selling it as I felt that I needed a larger/full size stroller..which we ended up getting the Baby Jogger City Versa. Although we are also happy with the versa it is quiet heavy and I feel it's handy to have two prams anyhow for different situations. I went through several different brands including a Baby Jogger city mini and city mini GT (which I loved, but my baby apparently didn't), a Bumbleride Indie (which I hated the recline mechanism). My hubby loved t...Read more
he bugaboo bee when we first had it and was all for trying it out again...so after trying to decide between the Cameleon (which he wasn't impressed with, but I still like) the Stokke Xplory (which ended up being a neat idea, but too plastic for our taste) and the Bee plus, we decided to go back to the bee for several reasons: listed below. I do like how it's so easy to add stuff and customize the bugaboo products. Yes, it's expensive, but it's like creating your own looking stroller without having to change prams on a regular basis.. Now as far as manovourability..the bee is great on many surfaces, but it's really not an all terrain stroller. It struggles a little on grass, gravel etc, but that's why we still have the Versa..although truth be i would love the bugaboo buffalo. Lol Light weight, great look, reverse seat (which is a must with my daughter), very easy to push and great suspension for such small wheels, nice adjustable seat; handle bars etc Small basket, but expected for a compact pram. Although it's compact,it's not as compact as I would like. The rounded part of the frame makes it awkward to fit in the back of our hinds odyssey with the 3rd seat up..which I had to creative about.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

best pram
I got the bee because my mum convinced me that I would prefer a smaller pram after the first month ! and yes she is right I love love my bee its easy to set up and pack up its small and fits in my boot just fine with room to spare. its looks great. I was worried about the wheels being to small when I go waling but it is fine ! I have a big baby jogging pram with 3 wheels and pump up tiers and it is just as good as the big one ! recommend it to any one ! it is not cheap but any good pram isn't cheap ! there has been a few times I have had to get the pram out of the car with one hand due to bub being unsettled and it is doable. (any other pram(not stroller) would be impossible)
small easy n light !

Bugaboo Bee
What a horrible product! I only purchased mine in January 2013 thinking that all the issues with the shimmying wheel and so on has been resolved but after paying so much $ it has not! they just come up with new excuses. Don't waste your money on this pram. Go with something more practical and durable. Their customer service is also very very poor. When I called them they said they were aware of the issue but under their ACCC obligation, they only have to replace the faulty part...after I said, you have done this twice already and its not any better, they were like, oh well lets try again! I never leave a bad review but BUGABOO SUCKS
everything. small, horrible wheels and bad customer service

Very happy
Really happy with this product. Bought it because it was light weight, has the reverse facing option, and it folded down in one piece and very easy to unfold. It also has a large basket and it is very slim line. All these factors are very important to me as I have a bad back so it needed to be light and I really wanted to see my baby when pushing the pram.
Expensive and I'm don't think it will be tall enough for my baby as he is growing very quickly and is likely to be a very tall baby.

I agree! My son is 9 months old and barley fits in it because he is tall. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone
The Bee Plus has an adjustable seat back so it can move up three inches from the lowest position. The seat bottom to canopy height is 24" at max height and the top of the seat is 22" max height, so it... Read more
's not really a short seat. My average height 18 month old is still on the lowest height, so she's got plenty of room to grow in it with it being adjustable.I tried my two year old in it and he fitted fine too.. try adjusting the back as suggested..

Fantastic pram - worth every cent!
Everything you would want in a pram/stroller!
Purchased my bugaboo bee approx 3 months ago for my then 6 month old.
He is my 3rd child so I have plenty of experience of prams & strollers!!
I had always vowed I would never have a bugaboo...believing you we're just paying for the name and not getting anything more than a cheaper pram, and that it was merely a status symbol.
Well I eventually caved after reading such positive reviews about it.
Now I cannot believe I waited so long!!
So easy to push...I often push it onehanded so I can hol...Read more

Definitely worth it, the perfect pram
After months of looking at prams, we went with this one and we are so glad we did. Our checklist for a pram was:
-Lightweight
-Thin (easy to manoeuvre in small spaces)
-Good-sized basket
-Easy handling and folding
-Faces 2 ways
This pram suited all of these. Price was a factor, however we realised that a pram would be used most days and so paying more money for a better quality pram would be worth it and we are so happy we made that decision. The Bee is very sturdy with excellent suspension and handling. If your lifestyle is mostly suburb...Read more

I love this stroller!
After a lot of research we chose the Bugaboo Bee+ and so glad we did.
Our Bee has served us well, the cocoon (added accessory) was brilliant in winter. It kept our babe cosy and we didn't have to worry about blankets falling off or getting caught in the wheels.
The Bee+ is perfect for city living and public transport. It is lightweight and easy to manoeuvre with one hand, making it easy to carry a basket at the shops or an upset baby. It fits through all check outs and aisles without running over toes or clipping ankles. The basket is...Read more

Works for me
When I was pregnant I did a lot of research into prams. I live at the top of a steep hill so wanted to get a light weight pram that I would use to go for walks with my bub (am not a jogger so no point getting a running style pram). I wanted a pram that could be front and rear facing. I also wanted a pram that would fold in one movement so that I didn't have to pull it apart into two pieces to put in the car boot like the strider. The Bee was the only pram that fitted my requirements. After 6 months using it I am really glad I got it. It also fi...Read more
tted my Maxi Cosi capsule which was helpful. I have been laughed at cause it's so low to the ground that it looks like a dolls pram but it's practical so that works for me more than having a fashionable pram. Light weight and adaptable with front and rear facing options. I will be able to use it for years. Doesn't look the best. A great travel stroller
We got the Bee because our pram isn't suitable for travel. For a city travel stroller, it's great. It's lightweight, you can reverse the seat, it's extremely well made and it looks good. Since we are used to a heavier duty pram (the Joolz) the Bee isn't as easy to move around because it will be harder to move on grass, curbs, etc. But, that's expected with all lightweight strollers.
Well made, comfortable, very easy to move
sits very low

Not Worth The Money!
cant believe i wasted my money! the canopy although interchangeable is not big enough it does not provide adequate cover from the sun. The main problem is the seat, it seems to be very uncomfortable and my daughter did not fall asleep in it once, you an purchase liners for the seat but why spend more?! When the pram is folded down when the seat is in reverse, it often falls off the frame.
glides like air, great manoeuvrability
uncomfortable seat, canopy

love it
i have owned three prams and this is the best one by far -- wish i'd bought it first off.
it's SO narrow and fits in the smallest of spaces! it's lightweight, the one piece fold is perfect for quick trips in and out of the car (as your bubs grows...like a stroller.) it's smooth on most surfaces (bit bumpy on rough gravel surfaces), and the basket is deceptively large. i love that bub can face forward or back, and it's SO easy to swap the seat. i've often swapped the seat if walking and the sun gets in bub's eyes.

Bugaboo Bee Plus
A great easy to push, light weight stroller. Decent sized basket, extendable seat and the opportunity to customise. Can be used from newborn as it lies down flat & is also compatible with some infant capsules. Easy to fold down and put up, fits in small boots and is great for zipping around the shops.
Easy to fold, light weight, fits everywhere, being able to change hoods, accessorise

Small but perfectly formed
Living in a smaller town I purchased my bee plus from the Internet without seeing or test driving it. Personally from the pictures on the net I thought it was particularly ugly as I much preferred the look of the cameleon. In the end I went with the bee as I am not into bulky prams.
Needless to say I nervously awaited my package and when it arrived I was very happy and relieved! It's the cutest little pram I've ever seen, pushes like a dream and has all the benefits of a stroller yet still functions as a pram. I especially like the rear/...Read more

Compact and Light
I knew I wanted a smaller pram for bub 2 but I wasn't exactly sure what. The bee ticked all my boxes, it was light, narrow, easy to manouvre, suitable from birth to toddler, extendable handle, extendable seat height and depth and a great choice of colours. I figured it wouldn't be great on rough terrain, which I was ok with. But... then I began to have problems with the front wheels not swivelling, which made it just impossible to manouvere. I was sent replacement wheels which fixed the problem. But then the wheels began to shimmy, making it ju...Read more
st shudder and shake, and I'm sure not a pleasant ride for bub. I was sent washers to fit to the stroller which are suppose to fix the problem. Which they did for a while and now the shimmying has started again. They say the washers need to be replaced every so often which has been the case for me. I must say how disapointed I am, for such an expensive pram that problems like this occur. I love my stroller but this is a big sore point for me. I would only reccommend it if the problems were fixed. Light, compact, narrow, easy to manourve, suitable from birth to toddler, lots of colours to choose from. front wheels shimmy.Similar opinion? Major front wheel problems!
I bought this buggy recently because I wanted something compact but still parent-facing. I can see that it would be a great product but for me the problem with the shimmying wheels overshadows any positives. I took this buggy out of the box, put it together and...voila...the wheels were wobbling all over the place! Disappointed, I put on one of the washer sets that came with the buggy as instructed in the manual and...voila...the wheels were still wobbling. I called the shop and was told to put two washers on each wheel. This did indeed stop th...Read more
e shimmying but made the wheels quite stiff so the buggy was not as smooth to push. The wheels were so stiff that they did not even swivel freely when the product was turned upside down. At this point I was so annoyed that I took it back to the shop for a refund. This was granted after much arguing on my part. While I liked many features of this buggy, I couldn't get past the wobbly wheels thing. Some people might be happy to put washers on a new product but I don't think it is a solution to the problem. Plus, Bugaboo admit the washers need to be replaced regularly. In my opinion, the product is basically faulty and should not be on sale. I actually can't believe people are still buying it - obviously they are sucked in by the Bugaboo brand. What fools. The seat can face both ways and folds in one piece. Seat is extendable for growing child and sits upright even when in parent-facing mode. Lightweight. Good size basket. Front wheels shimmy.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Easy to use!
I found this pram great, I am a small person so I was looking for a lightweight pram that was easy to fold up, can be used facing towards me or outwards and this was perfect, it fits into my boot space in my Nissan Pulsar with no issues, its a small pram, I did use it for my new born with a cocoon which is great so I don't need a blanket.
small, lightweight, face in and outwards, fits into small cars - can buy other colours if wanted
expensive, can not go off road, extras can be costly

So compact and lightweight
After researching all I wanted in a pram such forward/rear facing, suitable from birth to toddler, lightweight, not chunky like 3 wheelers (which I hate with passion) car seat adaptable. The bugaboo bee ticked all my boxes. This is perfect for inner city living and using on public transport. It is very easy to maneuver and even be done one handed. I purchased the Bugaboo Bee Plus for my 3 month old. I previously owned a maclaren which I also used for my 2 older children. But I realized that baby number 3 was more happy being able to see me so I researched prams with reversible seats and found the Bee Plus ticked all the right boxes.

Excellent
We had another pram, which I also love, for different reasons. It was great around our local terrain, but we found it took up nearly our whole boot. It was too heavy to get in and out of the car etc. That's why we got the bee. It is so cute. Really light. I can actually pick up the pram with one hand and open it with a quick push of the foot on the brake. It fits into the boot so well, we have more than 2/3rds of the boot space spare in a Mazda 3. It manoeuvres easily (again can turn on the spot with one hand). Easy to change handle height, cha...Read more

Gives me so much more boot space when we go out. It's really easy to steer. Comfortable for my daughter. Decent sized canopy. Light to push. Not so good for off roading. We live in the mountains so this pram is only for when we are walking on paths or at the shops. It doesn't handle too well going across bumpy grassy areas, but that's not why we bought the pram for in the first place. It is also on the more expensive side of prams, but worth it!!!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
