If I picture the service I want, I will use Buy Building Supplies as an example. Nothing is missing, nothing is excessive. The only thing is request for feedback - It may be simpler - choose, rather then type.

I read other reviews on here before posting my own... I have had a good experience with By Building Supplies. I ordered reinforcment mesh and then some lintels after that. Both arrived 2 days after ordering as stated.... all my emails were replied to straight away. Excellent pricing

The worst company I have dealt with to purchase online:
1. Info provided on how to make payment is inaccurate, ie EFT payment
2. Responses and web info were not accurate, ie delivery
3. Additional payment was made for delivery, which was agreed to send additional sheets - so that no refund was due. Only the additional sheets were ready. This resulted in an all day pickup and return, rather than 3 hour job and back to work - from Wollongong to King Park.
4. Responses were short and would not phone, even after collecting goods and only part order ready (payment had not been passed onto manufacturer for original order)

Absolutely disgraceful service. No phone contact and live chat very rude and unhelpful. After making a purchase and trying to inquire about delivery so I could ensure someone was home, I was told "don't stress". I responded I am not stressed but I have made a purchase I would like to be home for. When I asked about the courier company and where this company was based, the admin left the chat immediately. Very suss and I will be surprised if my order arrives any time soon, let alone if it's damaged/ faulty - there is no chance for any customer service.
Complete hoax. I have taken a screen shot of the "chat" should I need to back up any submissions to Department of Fair Trading.

Error on web interface resulted in payment error. After 24hrs there was no sign of transaction and no receipt so paid for product and was a couple of days later charged again as per original error payment. Nil response to any contact since order placed now waiting 6 days for response. Happy to communicate via email in place of phone but responses need to be timely. Product order and delivery from supplier was very efficient.

Ordered two pallets of blocks was expecting to wait 5 days or more blocks arrived in 2 no fuss, blocks were left where I requested, would not hesitate to use them again, Great price great service.

Placed an order of the rigid foam last Tuesday hoping the delivery would arrive by Friday... No delivery no confirmation nothing... Happy to take my $860 straight up... No care about my purchase.. Had a response saying I had to finalise order....! Doesn't the payment I made of $860 say to these clowns that my order is finalised...
I had tradies lined up for the Saturday but had to cancel because the people running this company need to wake up and deliver on their promises

Placed a Velux order which I then had to amend. Amended order was manually confirmed within 60 seconds of submitting (Wow). Said they could deliver within 2 days but i chose a later date and it arrived on that day by courier, so no complaints at all. Good prices.

Hi, I was initially a little reluctant to deal with this website as there was no direct phone number to get in touch with someone in case of issues. However, I found their email correspondence prompt and [name removed] was a pleasure to deal with. They rang around other suppliers for me to explore different options and responded to my emails very, very quickly, even at 5am!

Paid over 2 weeks ago, nothing yet. Before I paid they were quick respond to emails, now that they have my money, no relies. Warning email contact only, they don't give a phone number. This was a red flag but I ignored it.
Beware! Tip: you can get them on live chat, on their site.
Good price, until they don't send you anything.

I ordered and paid for bricks off this website on the 10/11/2011, I was told at the time they would be delivered within 10 days. It is now the 30/11/2011 and I have been told they will be at least another week.
None as yet
Too slow, and can not contact them by any other menas than email, which generally takes at least 24 Hrs to return.
