Magnificient !
What a drop..best if served chilled just before it goes icy. Then into a metal tankard of some description and let sit for 5 minutes....next experience is a very smooth and creamy slippery slope down your throat. And no real hangover either if one happens to accidentally over imbibe somehow.

My understanding it's an 'ale' rather than a 'lager'. Best served very chilled in my opinion and I find them smooth, creamy and moreish and they don't adversely affect me the next day if on the odd oc...

Down to personal taste in the end and what you're used to drinking I guess but I think they're the best of the Irish Ales I've had in my area but they're relatively hard to get and not many places stock them and those which do cannot always get them. Something to do with the local distributor apparently and a problem long before COVID. I love em.Get an answer from our members
