You can. The only issue is that the door of the grill must be open when being used.

My oven went out half way through baking some sweet potatoes tonight and it won’t stay on now. It will ignite but goes out as soon as I release the knob. Any suggestions please. (Yes..... I am holding the knob in for at
least 10 seconds after ignition just in case you were wondering :-)

Can I use the electric grill at the same time as the gas oven in my 54cm upright stove?
Do I need to take the grill tray out every time I use the oven. There is no separate grill.

Seems to me that Electrolux have a standard reply to all complaints. Has anyone actually had any positive results from their complaints? Maybe we should go to Consumer Affairs because I still believe the oven gets dangerously hot.

I guess if it meets Australian standards there is nothing more to be done about it.

How high should the oven flame be on ignition? Is it normal for the flame to be of uneven height across the back of the oven with one section reaching up to 10cm while the rest varying in height with some barely visible? Will the flame correct itself on further heating of the oven? I am hestitant to experiment with this as the stove is unfamiliar to me. The stove is in a newly purchased home.

Stainless Steel, Natural Gas (CFG517SANG)

I have just bought a Chef CFG517SANG from the Good Guys at Wagga Wagga. I now read all these negative reviews and wonder if I have bought a lemon.
Have the complaints been addressed and is the stove now safe. Or should I take it back and swop for a white enamel stove ????

My whole stove gets burning hot when only using the oven. This includes all the knobs which are plastic and all the area behind which the electronic buttons are placed. I don't think this is normmal and is definitely not safe. What should I do?
