I want to apply for another loan but I have forgotten my login details

Hey Stuart, go onto the Cigno loans website and click on the top right corner then click on members login. If you can remember your email address pop That into username and click forgot password. Good luck!
Dont use them the first loan will be easy the second loan they continue to take payments after your loan is paid out, they dont respond to your emails, your on hold for hours trying to speak to someone and they hang up on you, you try and block them via your bank but they gave 3 different payment ID'S that WESTPAC is aware of and continue to take, because "there waiting on your bank to release funds" ?? The advisor at my bank even told me to stay away from them they are doddgy

Can I cancel my loan
1 answer
Not excactly. You can Finalise the loan, by a one off payment which pays out the total amount of your loan. There is a " Cooling off " period after you take out the loan. Please contact Cigno directly for more help. I hope this helps. :)

Hi I'm wanting to know why it's coming up with my balance on the cigno site but not in my bank account??

Call consumer action 03 97605088 the government is taking action against them and shutting them down, Cigno also operates under my finance as well so be careful.

Seem so dodgy to me ! Approved a loan, sent contract without my approval 5minutes later get a email/ txt saying they have cancelled the loan and sent 3 more msgs for or more loan approvals and the dodgy thing was that the bank account they had under my name wasn’t even my one ! wouldn’t have a clue who’s it is ! How do i know if they cancelled the first loan so i know i’m not getting scammed for a loan i haven’t received, by the sound of it they could just take money from my account ! crooks, bloody crooks !

Something similar happened to me except that the money ended up in my account, sent it all back of course and told them to cancel as if not finalised, BUT THEY KEEP SENDING IT BACK!
I’ve changed banks and are now ignoring them, hope I don’t get in trouble as they are trying to steal over $450 from me for a $350 loan that I sent back within hours of receiving.

A couple of weeks ago I asked for a hold on my loan for a few weeks because my husband was off work due to a serious work accident and receiving a much lower payment from insurance than his regular wage. I heard absolutely nothing for a couple of weeks, then when I did receive a return email, I was told that you could help me, the email was very difficult to make sense of and by the wording I assumed that there had been some leaniency under the circumstances and the member portal showed that I didn’t have to make a payment for 2 more weeks, but, low and behold the full payment was taken out of my account that has no money in it. anyway, obviously this payment won’t clear and I will be stung with bank fees no doubt.

Contact Consumer action 03 97605088 apparently the government is going to shut them down, what they’re doing is illegal.
Thank you, I did eventually get an answer when I emailed the complaints department, but my loan is still almost double!!!!

How do I cancel my loan application this is the wrong product for me
1 answer
Go to Cigno. Tell them you want to cancel. If you are out of the cooling off period, that is not going to be easy. Avoid lenders like Cigno.

I would like to know why you have a manual upload option for bank statements then refuse to proceed with the loan until you process them your way? Also I have sent 5 or 6 emails regarding an explanation etc to get no replies at all. Seems like a dodgy scam company to me can you explain?

They appear dodgy to me. Click on the stats button on the main webpage following /listings/cigno-loans and you will see that their rating increased all at once in September 2022 by a heap of 5 star reviews. In other words, they appear to promote themselves with dodgy reviews and so the whole operation is likely to be dodgy.

My review is based on things thay did to my kids and feedback from other customers I have spoken to, thay don't do it to eveyone but by all accounts it's a common thing for them to do to customers that have finalized there loan. I gess just be mindful and keep a closs eye on you bank or even tell your bank when your loani s paid in full so the bank can stop any funny business thay might try. All the best Matt
