Citibank Car Loans

I opened a Citibank savings account last year, with the intention of reorganising some of the financial services that I use. The savings account was fine, apart from a rather neurotic website (which appears to have been designed by two different teams, who didn't talk to each other). So I applied for a credit card, and that's when the fun started. My application seems to have been handled by Citibank's Practical Jokes Department -that's the impression I have of their appalling call centre. After 5 weeks of enduring the bumbling incompetence...

I used to have an account with Citibank several years ago so I applied for a new personal loan at which time I gave my new address in the online application. I then faxed my utility bills and payslips as evidence and received the confirmation letter that I had been approved. I then called 2 weeks later to find out when I would receive my card and was told it had been sent to my old address from my previous Citibank account and activated by someone else. The account was cancelled and my address details were re-taken and new card re-issued, even ...

Their customer service can never provide the right service. Even you filed a complains they will just came back without any solution. It has inferior service, horrible attitudes and unwilling to help with their customers. Their internal operation should be under a seriuos review.
Absolutely nothing.
Absolutely everything! Especially their customer services.

If you want to use them to reduce the interest on your current debts - do but as soon as you've paid it off get out!
Easy application process - low transfer rates.
Wrong information goven by phone staff - then you're treated like an idiot for not knowing their processes and procedures. When you're a new customer the deals are awesome but over time they get worse and worse...
