Great service, easy to use web interface, very transparent costs of vehicle. don't have to worry about unplanned costs. friendly staff easy no fuss submission of claims. The only improvement I would make is to change the method of reimbursements to on line

Great first-time experience.

Customer service was thorough, friendly and timely. There was a variation in the quoted cost and actual cost once the lease was settled, but the amount is fairly negligible over the life of the lease and well-worth it when considering the benefits to me in terms of managing running costs. I’m very happy overall and will certainly deal with Smartleasing again in the future.

Changing Employers is a nightmare

I have changed from NSW Health to Queensland Health back to NSW Health and changing an existing package is a long drawn out, annoying and eventually costly experience. I missed out on several benefits with the time taken to change the packaging and then to catch up the delays they have to take a large amount of payments in the subsequent pay cycles.

Good customer service but can improve more by clarifying technical terms to more user-friendly terms.
I did have some discrepancies on loan amount on different documents but it was clarified afterwards.

I have been impressed by the courtesy and support provided by Smartleasing. This began when I was deciding whether to lease a car and the same high standard has been consistent throughout all my dealings with Smartleasing. Making a claim has been smooth and, when unsure, a phone call has led to useful advice to make the process easy. Claims are completed (with the money in my bank account) in just a day or two. For me, the rate of the loan has been worth it and having so many car running costs included in the package provides me with a fabulous car budget.

leasing a car through smartleasing is one of the easiest things I have done. The service was excellent and no question was too difficult. Any queries I had were promptly answered and the process was easy. Within three weeks of going ahead with my lease, I was driving my new car. The service has always been efficient and transparent with service people seeming genuinely interested in helping.

Can you please advise how long the current settlement time is. I signed an agreement with a delivery date of 31/3/20 and am still waiting, apparently on the bank.

No replies from my Settlement Manager since 1/4/20 and am currently ringing the Customer Service line everyday receiving the same answer, "we're waiting on the bank." No one can answer if my Settlement Manager is even chasing the lender up or at what stage of process it is at. Furthermore, the dealership is also ringing your company every second day regarding the extended delay.

I understand the unique environment currently, hence my patience, however surely you could at least give an estimate delivery date - this delay is costing me hugely as I'm requiring a hire car in the meantime for work.

Escalating to Fair Trading will be my next stop.

Has anyone found their lease package included 6 extra insurance products and services that were not fully disclosed? You would discover that the principal finance amount is around $6-7k more than the actual cost of the car. The principal financed amount is found deep in page 3 of the Lease Quote within the Terms and Conditions, and you may find it is more than you recall the car costing. If so, I'd be interested to hear about your experience. I have realised it has happened to our two current leases, 1 and 2 years old, but if you call now for a quote now (post Royal Commission?) that the same products are disclosed.
