Zero customer service and do not honor warranties, rip you off as only way they make money
brought an above ground intex pool, still under warranty, noticed when we brought it we had to top it up more often but thought it was evaporation, however not the case as the bladder was seeping, we patch it up with repair kit only to find another then patch that up and so on to the point we were losing 1500lt water a day as new seeps would appear. call Frankston store where jeff stated would send intex an email and get back to us, however what a load of crap as he avoided, called head office they said they will make some calls get back to me ...Read more
pffft more crap as head nothing then called next day said same thing and that area manager will call, funny 1 area manager for Victoria. He called me with the excuse he was busy getting a new store ready in shepperton, why would he when there franchised in the 1st place. said as he finished at 9 pm he thought he would call at appropriate time and call lasted 3 minutes and would talk with other managers see what they will do. They have been informed the pool is for our son who suffers a disability and his O.T was coming so i along with the O.T can be in the pool together with our son to assist him with exercises, so we gave them some time and Friday came and went have not heard a word from them. Well its sad that once this was a great place to shop but can now see why so many avoid clark rubber as they like to sell but do not honor warranty, shows me the thief's they really are now. i will be reporting to Accc and cav as well as human rights vic as they were advised its required for our son who has disability and they have ignored this. discrimination is illegal more so when it involves a child whom requires the pool for occupational reasons and more safer than taking him to beach. There true colours have shown clear that there a bunch of tossers who only care about there own pockets and ignore there customers. Well my hubby was about to place an other order as he and his mates every year replace foam for there motor homes as every year they do a boys road trip with there homes on wheels and boats, so he and his 29 friends have placed an $9978.00 order with another supplier that is not clark rubber nor gets its supplies from them. I understand why so many have rated them a 1 but if there was an option for 0 i bet that is what all would give them, unlike the 5 they get from there own people to try get there ranking up, pffft good try but clark rubber is crap and my warning to others is stay well clear as they are happy top take your $$$ but not return it, only way they make money it seems. nearly forgot everyone will get a much better deal price and customer service at pool & spa warehouse, muchhhhhh cheaper better quality and 10/10 customer service plus they back there product warranties unlike Clark rubber heads1 comment

Bad Service Wrong Information by staff
Purchased a inflatable pool, told everything I needed was in box except chemicals to maintain water. Opened box and had no pump to inflate rim nor a bottom layer sheet. Called customer service they didn’t know what contents comes with product and advised to call store. I called store and I just got ‘no’ reply and basically that’s how it comes and can not exchange or refund. Never again purchasing from store again.
No where in box does it mention parts included or what you need to purchase till you open box and then it’s too late can’t return it. Sold it on online at a loss and returned chemicals to store for no questions asked refund.

Worst retail experience
Bought an inflatable pool for my daughters Christmas present and went to set it up on Christmas Eve only to find it had a hole in it.
Took back to the store only to get bad service. No apology no exchange just put a patch on it. Waited 24 hours to make sure that patch held.
Blew it up again and it went down again.
Daughters Christmas totally ruined. They said it wasn’t covered by warranty basically we must have done it.
Never shop at Clark rubber Kotara. Exceedingly rude staff,poor service and faulty goods.

Their DIY above ground pools are not DIY.
We were told that the pool was DIY, it is not. Got to a certain point following their basic instructions (which come with the pool) that make no sense, then the walls fall in and it had to be restarted. Hired a professional pool installer who told me that it is not DIY, it is on of the harder pools to put together and that we need to put plastic under the sand base.
The pool is not the issue it is the fact that we were told that the pool was a DIY project when it clearly isnt! If you buy one of the above ground pools invest in getting a professional to install

Way to go Clark Rubber Cockburn WA for giving me no service at all!
I asked the Manager of the Cockburn Clark Rubber store if I could get some foam cut. He replied, they were too busy and to come back in a couple of days. Maybe he should hire enough staff so they can provide service to all customers. Never going back there again!!!

Kotara store terrible customer service and poor quality spa chemicals
I recently purchased Spa chemicals for the Kotara Store. The chemicals were so weak that the spa went horrible after a week. Upon returning to the store, the manager was rude and refused to discuss a refund. I will never be returning to this store and I warn anyone thinking about being spa chemicals from Clark rubber to steer clear of them... don't waste your money like I did.

Poor customer service
This store must have offered the worst customer service ever! I was offered help almost immediately, I explained I wanted a piece of foam measuring 44 x 78 was shown various expensive options, I then explained it was for a dog bed, the guy then proceeded to take me to the ready made matresses and offer me one which was way too big, again I explained the measurements. Warranty backup
I have been dealing with the Hobart branch for 10 months now trying to settle a warranty issue, the manager at this branch is hopeless still no satisfaction will not talk to me now .Would not recommend anyone to purchase a pool through this store

Perfect mattress, Excellent Customer Service (Mr. Manoj)
Slept like a log on the medium firm cut to size foam and with a bamboo charcoal mattress overlay. I have spent so much money buying mattresses elsewhere. Would certainly recommend this combination. Thanks to Mr. Manoj at Clark Rubber Hoppers Crossing for looking after me as well.

Buy elsewhere (from people with manners)
Went into Virginia (Brisbane) store to buy white marine vinyl headliner. Rather than measure cut from beyond obvious grease marks the staff member reckoned I should wash them off at home! Then she lays the expensive WHITE vinyl FACE DOWN on a filthy table to measure off my order. I lift the edge to see the grubby black marks everywhere. Took my hundred dollars elsewhere where the guy took great care to look after the product (wiped table down, unrolled face up, rolled face in etc). So... if you want bad attitude AND b-grade service then you know where to go!

unbelievable, pipes were connected wrong?
Pool technician from Clark Rubber Nunawading Store started working on my pool since before Xmax. After almost 2 months and $2000, my pool is still not working. I did everything she asked including equipment and chemicals. And finally found by another technician from another store that the pipes were connected wrong. Unbelievable. It says on the multiport valve that which end needs to be connected to "pump" and which one should be connected as "return". How a pool technician can get this wrong? Very disappointed.

On the nose!
A few days ago I went to Clark Rubber to buy an overlay for my bed. The assistant helped me choose one and I purchased a Comfort Premium Latex overlay. I was unfortunately unprepared for the stench that I encountered when I removed the zip-on heavy duty plastic packaging. When I put it on the bed I expected the smell to dissipate but it didn't and unfortunately despite the extra comfort it provided, I spent a near sleepless night on it. The following morning everything had to be washed: linen, night clothes and anything that had come in contact with it. For several days now it has been airing outside and being brought inside at night. The mattress still smells and so does the overlay.

Excellent customer service
We were so satisfied to have an initial mix up rectified on the same day!! We got our foam mattress home only to realise the wrong one was supplied, however the Hoppers Crossing store came out and swapped it over on the same day!! Best customer service ever!!

Today my wife and I went to the Castle Hill store to look at purchasing some new foam and vinyl for our boat.. We were approached by Daniel who asked us what we needed and wanted to do, he advised us on what sort of foam he would recommend.. He even worked with our budget and sorted us out not to mention cut it all perfectly to our specifications.. The store was quite busy during that time, Daniel was so very apologetic for our patience as people were asking him questions while serving us.... people these days are down right rude....

Rude Sales Person - Extremely Poor Customer Service
I phoned Clarke Rubber in Narre Warren to see if I could get a soft rubber mat I purchased cut. They were reluctant to offer assistance, finally agreed that I should bring it in and 'they would see what they could do'. It turns out i could have cut it myself with a pair of scissors as that is all they did. However, during the process the sales assistant was impertinent and seemed put out by having to do this. $10 for 10 minutes work which I helped to do, and when I asked if they would throw out the off cuts this was going to be a further charge, When I said $10! Her flippant response was 'what did you expect, it to be free'. I said no but I didn't expect it to be $10. Something I think they should have told me either on the phone or before starting the job, as I would have decline the service and done it myself, after all I did half of it myself in the shop. I paid her the $10 and she continued to rudely justify the charge talking to me as if I was a child saying it's her time I'm paying for - really don't you get paid regardless. I have spent hundreds of dollars at Clark Rubber and was looking at purchasing another $100+ product in the next few days. Sorry Clarke Rubber you have lost my business. I suggest you look at your business model and realise retail is about customer service, and if your customers purchase a product from you, part of the service should be to cut it to size and deal with the off cuts yourself v's giving it to a customer to dispose of. Buyers Be Aware
On the 30 th on December I had brought a Pool Cover for my pool, that would never stay on, plus it was starting to rip. The Hobart store not sure if the guy was the owner, but was the worst customer service that I have ever seen in my 50 years. we had receipt or even snippet from our bank statement which when i was advised from partner, we both knew Franga store had this as found on computer system. So another fail for Clark rubber as only reason we got a call is from leaving honest review & why wouldn't the head office in Melbourne call instead have manager from QLD . Monday i will e list it to be heard in vcat as they do not honor warranties choose to play games and continue to break there word along with adding there salt and pepper lies.
