Over priced glorified fan
The unit comes with basic pamphlets, you need to print the manuals yourself.
There is no option to change the temperature or fan speed and the unit isnt overly cool, its slighlty cooler than a normal fan.
Theres no actual buttons for power just a display panel with lights - design is very cheap and basic. So you have to pull the plug out from the wall Everytime to turn it off.
Aside from keeping insects out, it makes no sense to have the cover stand in midair while the unit is going as it partly blocks where the cool air is meant to come out
Loud machine, limited support service
While I had high hopes for the Coolzy machine, unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. The noise level of the machine was much louder than the advertised 50db, coming in at 62dB / 65dB. While I attempted to return the machine, I encountered considerable challenges with their customer service team. The process took several weeks to resolve, and I found their approach to be rather combative and not particularly customer-friendly.

Read more- 4 Jan 2023 - Your order was delivered to you 4 days after you ordered it - 6 Jan 2023 - You contacted us and opted to return the unit as per our 7 day Return Policy - 7 + 8 Jan 2023 is a Saturday and Sunday - 9 Jan 2023 - we responded to your request, allowed the return and provided return instructions - 9 Jan 2023 - you started a PayPal claim (even though we had obliged to your request to return the item). PayPal eventually closed your claim and found that there was no basis for it. - 9 Jan 2023 - You confirm that you will return the unit. You then complain that you wanted to take advantage of our 7 day Return policy but you did not want to pay the $100 admin fee which forms part of our Return Policy. These terms were all contained in our Terms and Conditions that you explicitly agreed to at point of purchase by clicking "I agree to the Terms and Conditions". We go on to explain that the admin is not arbitrary and covers our shipping to you, return inspection (by an Australian engineer), and restocking fee. 33 emails pass over the next few months. You change your mind and decide that you don't want to Return the item under our 7 Day Returns policy and instead, want to file a Warranty claim because you think the machine is too loud. We agree and ask you to return the unit so that we can test it. You ignore requests to return the item. We give you instructions as to how you may test the sound. We suggest downloading an app and stand 1.2m to the side of the machine to measure the noise. The image that you have attached to this "review" shows that you are not 1.2m from the side of the machine when the sound measurement was taken. We literally beg you over MANY emails to return the unit so that our engineer can test it to verify your claims. 2 months pass and you finally return the item. We test the unit using a sensitive instrument called a Sound-Level Meter at 1.2m from the side of the machine. The tests confirm that the machine is 50dB. Your warranty claim is denied however, we still allow you to return the unit per our 7 Day Return Policy even though 1.5 months have passed since your purchase. You still only want to pick and choose which Terms of Sale you want to apply to you. You want to return the unit without paying the admin fee (that you had previously agreed to at point of sale; the Contract of Sale). During the above process, you phoned our warehouse (to see if they were real and not imaginary), you contacted all of our employees via LinkedIn (including Board members overseas), you lodge ANOTHER PayPal claim which PayPal eventually closes again because it is frivolous. Eventually, our CEO instructs us to not apply all of our Terms of Sale even though there is no good reason too. You receive a full refund. Now, a month later, you give us a 1 star review... There is an irony that someone whom sits on a [Content Removed] of an influential advocacy organisation that is the [Content Removed] does not think pre-agreed Terms of Sale should apply to her. If anything, we would expect that you would support small business, especially since we have been nothing but open and transparent. We have complied with every request you have made, we have answered every question you have had (even revealing our corporate structure to appease you). We are obviously disappointed that you didn't love your Coolzy but we understand that it's not for everyone. That's why we have a Return Policy. However, to be treated like this by a customer is very frustrating, especially when they are the ones that we count on to advocate for us, small business. We do not think your 1 star review is fair. The image that you have supplied shows that you do not know how to follow instructions or test a unit, which is why we needed our engineer to do so. We have bent over backwards to keep you happy. You have obstructed us at every turn. We hope you remove this review immediately.Had the pro for a week and it isn't working any longer - Cannot get in touch with the Cooezy team.
Ordered the Pro and Long tail ( this isn't that long and doesn't reach my high window)
Arrived and was easy to set up, so started using it straight away. Worked well if it's directly in front of you.
Now doesn't work at all. I have followed the trouble shooting FAO online, and still not working. Two emails and phone calls to the company and no reply for a refund as advertised. Buyers beware, I fear I won't be hearing from them again. Would like to be proved wrong.

Have had it on almost all day and night since purchasing 4 months ago, my last electricity bill was only about $60 more than normal for 3 months constant use; I've only got windows on one wall (nil ventilation) and am in a top floor flat in an increasingly hot and humid Sydney, my flat's around 32 degrees day and night December to May. ... Read moremidity days. Its ideal for me as I prefer to keep the windows wide open for what little air I can get, especially with gas cooking. (and with other ac units having the windows shut means the internal temperature of my flat rises to cancel any cooling within 12 hours or so). You have to point it directly at you so ideal for one person. It does produce warm air at the back but less than a normal portable ac. No mucking around to set up. I am very satisfied with the response from the company.
I wrote a previous review lamenting to the unsatisfactory close comfort, the company promptly replied, contacted me with a very satisfactory compromise.
They collected the original one, and a replacement was ordered, they offered me a fully refund of the total cost if the new one was not what I expected.
I received the new one on a cool day, so today is going to be a good day to test it out with a forecast of 32c.

I live in Darwin, NT. We are in the wet season now so we use A/C almost 24/7. I finally bought this (the Easy Cool) after reading and watching a lot of reviews online and on YouTube. The Easy Cool is so simple, no remote control, just plug it and open the wings to turn on, thats it! I also bought the tent and focus enhancer accessories so all in all spent $673 (shipping included). ... Read moreact and really does pleasantly cool. It works best with the tent, I actually got cold, so my 3 kids and I went glamping in our living room. My 2 yr old had a good long nap in the tent. I put a thin blanket sheet over the tent to keep the warm air out and I also saw a youtuber do it. But even w/o a blanket over the tent you will feel cool inside, it was just a personal preference of mine. I am using the unit without the tent right now in my office, and I feel comfortably cool. The noise is the same as having a regular fan on, but I must say this is quieter than the big fan we have. I prefer having white noise to absolute silence. I am considering buying a second unit, that's how much I appreciate this appliance. Can't wait to use it for campingPerfect for summer night with tent.
Incredible energy saving, and great performance in temperature dropping. I purchased it with a tent, and no more hot and intolerable nights for my husband and me. I can keep it on overnight with less than $1 electricity fees. Also much better than a fan or a central air-con when I'm working alone. Very flexible, very quiet, and very efficient. This personal airconditioner is very effective at cooling you down from 1-2 metres away and genuinely feels like refrigerated cooling, which it is. Temperature drop is great. Does this product leak condensation? Does it have a collection tray for condensation?
Hi, we have a condensation trap inside the machine. It reuses the water to improve the cooling. If it ever overflows, we have a second water catcher that will catch the water. IF it ever fills, the machine will turn-off and wait for you to empty it.
We've only ever managed to get the water catcher to fill when we used the machine in far north Queensland on a very hot steamy day, in the mountains. We haven't heard of any reports of the humidity being high enough anywhere else in the country to require the water trap to be emptied :)

Thanks for the question. You can indeed transport a Coolzy on it's side however we ask that you stand the Coolzy upright for around 24hrs prior to turning it on again. This gives the gases inside time to settle.

Hi Irene, no you never need to refill the gas inside the machine. It is completely sealed and won't escape.
The tent is to trap the cool air over the bed. It's an optional item. Most folks just use the Long Tail instead.
