Ridiculous stupid company
Corona virus crisis asked for delay payment no respond and keep charging does not care clients has money or not or in such hard condition. I called all other direct debit including my car finance, rent, Medibank, car insurance, even life insurance, any company charging me for direct debit for couple of years stoped gave me 1-3 month prior depends on company to settle me down and pay after this hard pandemic situation getting better. If I deal with any company I will ask which direct debit are you going to use if they say debit success I rather pay lump sum or change my service if they keep using debit success. This place is terrible. The worst part is the process of how it charges. My card was going to expire and they did not send a reminder of anything. But... they will kindly send you an email that you owe them money with extra charges and to please pay it now. at they do not care that your circumstances may change and that you still are required to pay them. This place is connected to my sons karate classes and it sadly makes me to not send him to this classes anymore. The fact that they chose this place to handle their payments and not somebody else makes me really question if they are only there for the money. The corona virus has also taken a toll on our country, but have payments stopped even though we are quarantined? nope. I am paying to stay home when we have really fallen on financial hardship due to this change. I sent an email at the beginning of march about suspending my payments of such and no reply. Awful customer service and ridiculous fees- criminal
This company may be good for businesses pay schedules but as a customer I will specifically reject a service if they use debit success. They are criminally expensive and don't consult with the customers at all. For one example: I have my children in a swimming club that all have lessons on the same day at the same time and they won't consolidate my DD so they charge me $30 in fees even though I have requested several times for one DD to be extracted they refuse. They have confirmed my account is in credit with them however they still charged the fees on each transaction which I specifically didn't pay due to the COVID situation and deferring the lessons and then would not refund the money or the credit on the account! Stay away from them.

Continued Charging my bank account
Once a gym membership was completed and all paperwork signed off, Debit Success continued to take money from my account. Had to contact my bank to put a bar on this company taking anymore money from my account. Only finally got an email today stating they were refunding the money. Don't worry though, as they have "taken all steps possible to ensure that this doesn't happen again".

Dodgy, ignorant, infuriating company.
Debits incorrect amounts. Charges penalty fees when funds are available. Charges my account three seperate amounts each week for one swimming account. Says debt owed when swim club shows it is paid. Extremely rude CSOs.

DESERVES a 0 Rating worst company ive ever dealt with.
Paid account in full requested a letter confirming for my bank loan and they messed me around for days with no outcome.
Worst most stressful company ive dealt with in my life.

Should be a zero star
Have been fighting with these guys for 8 months they're charging me for 2 accountswhen I have 1 rang Launceston vets twice to fix it no reply the first time this time they're looking in to this debit sucess put me into dedt collectors for $394 they were taking my payment which are on the 5th on each month then waiting til the7th and charging me late fees I think all these complaint we should all take this to the osbunman I have been asking for statements from them for a year to show me what they have taking and ask the vets for statements both of them haven't sent them

Unprofessional and outrageous penalty
Waves Swimming squad for my son using direct debit credit card on weekly basis. One time I know clearly have more than enough funds in my card to pay $30 fee, yet they sms me at 9pm stating payment got declined and I would get charged $30 dishonor fee and $10 reversal on top of $30 - so in total $70. When I called spoke to supervisor they requested for me to provide statement to proof that I had enough sufficient funds, even they agreed in that "payment got declined" terms didn't mean as no funds available could be just the traffic that hitting...Read more

Terrible!!
They'll put you in debt, they'll change the amount of money coming out, if you accidentally miss a payment due to time of debit, they'll debit you double and an extra $15 all on same day next time without informing you that anything happened or went wrong, so if you don't have the much extra amount of money in the account at the time they'll change another $15 on top.They all try to be secretive about any extra debit amounts unless you specifically ask they'll not say anything and stay quiet In hopes they'll get away with charging yet another $15 again and again and again! This is the worst of the worst, if you ever see this company contract run away!!

Rip offs
I have had nothing but issues with this company to the point where we have finally seeked legal advice and now can take this further as we have been ripped off . They have been charging us whenever they want, doubling payments adding late fees that should have not been added as they are meant by law to contact U if the direct debit was unsuccessful which they don't and the list goes on. I suggest anyone using this company to check Ur account note everything down.print and get legal advice also report it ombudsman as they can help too

Getting charged an extra $14.95 late fee for not having funds in my account to pay my membership I guess the $500 sitting in my account just isn’t there. Not the first time either.

Problem company
This company isn’t willing to help they only in it for themselves to stuff people around. Hard company to deal with and never clear on instructions on there ridiculous contract rules. I am totally getting no where with this company, it will be the last time I deal with them that’s for sure so hope there are gyms or other sport activities that doesn’t associate with debt success. I need to seek legal advise to deal with them because they won’t resolve an issue, it’s always good to get a ombudsman on your side. Dam!! their customer service needs to improve

Cumbersome
This sort of stuff needs to be left in the 90s. Hard to monitor how much you’ve paid/owed/cancel. Need to call for everything. Shouldn’t be that way in 2020!
Painful to cancel, painful overall. I refuse to use businesses that insist on using this model.

Ripp off company. Do not sign up with them.
I read the reviews to realize I am not alone. Had a go with this ripp off company for karate clasess.Unsucessfull payment will cost additional $12.
Charging for school holiday period when karate place is close for 4 weeks. Asked to cancel my account which I pay weekly basis to stop getting me ripped off further. Then they want 28 days of notice which is not in the agreement.
Don't know why sporting places use this scammers.
Stay away at all cost.

Shocking Company. No Better Than The Banks

Do not trust
Accused me to not having sufficient money for my gym's membership. Despite providing three bank statements, I was still forced to pay the reversal fee when it was clearly not my fault. Staff are useless and do not actively help you but say that they will pass your issue onto someone else. Do not recommend

A dishonest company that harasses people
These guys are unprofessional and harass paying customers. I now refuse to deal with any company that uses their services.
I joined Lifestyle Health Club at Redbank Plains and gave the necessary notice to cancel my membership.
Now they allow Debit Success to harass me constantly for a debt I do not owe and I am now being threatened with debt collectors.
Be aware of them demanding your debit or credit card details. Do not hand them over.

Why does debit success ask for my netbanking client number and password when attempting to pay online by direct debit? If I disclosed this information I would e violating the terms and conditions of my netbanking account with my bank.

Has anyone gone through the accc or financial ombudsman to sort this company out? I am at my wits end with paying extra money every week. It is disgraceful how this business works but I just want to find a way out of it. Ever since signing up for my gym they have been nothing but trouble. I still use my gym and cannot afford to pay the fee for breaking the contract. I have also heard from countless people of them transferring their gym membership only to have debt collectors come back months later saying they owe $800+ to this company. I am sure they aren't attempting to take money out of my account resulting in a fee. I just want to know what my options are to avoid this fraudulent and pathetic excuse for a company.

Yes, that is one of the ways their company appears. Debitsuccessdf is the company name and the location debiting the amount is usually shown afterwards. I am not sure why this needs a name and account number, unless they want to be using it for 'chasing a default' or similar.
