Hello, I am trying to use my multi cuisine for the first time today however there is no power to the machine at all! I have tried using multiple power outlets (outlets that work with other appliances) and do not get any power to the multicuisine at all. Is there something that I am missing? Thank you!

When cooking rissoles and or sausages with vegetables do you put the meat under the vegies or on top please?
2 answers
Cheryl B.DeLonghi
If you are cooking using both the top and bottom i would put the veggies on top after you have cooked the meat for a bit as depending on the size of your veggies they will cook quicker.
I love to make a dish where i make my rissoles smaller and then just put it all in together and let the paddle mix it around and everything sort of cooks up like a stir fry. Super yummy.
Thank you so much. I wil also try your suggestion. Stay safe. Judy & Graeme

I’ve just bought the cooker, pl tell me
Do I use the big pot or the other one with the paddles
What setting do I put it on,
Wish they have a proper booklet with it
Thankyou if u can help me

There is a great app that can help you with the settings and recipes its called the De'Longhi Recipe book app.
Also it depends what you want to cook the paddle allows you to stir things so its great for when you make hot chips, maybe something like bolognese, stir frying vegetables or even marinated chicken wingettes.
The bowl without the paddle is perfect for making recipes like pizza, cakes or quiche where you don't want the paddle to be in the way for a smooth base of what you are cooking. The paddle can also be removed from the bowl as well.
If you need further assistance please dont hesitate to ask more questions or could i suggest calling our customer service team on 1800 126 659 and they will be able to point you in the right direction.
Thankyou for your reply, much appreciated.

If I want to cook at 400 deg what setting do I use
2 answers
Hi Barbara, the highest setting if your model is the multicuisine FH 1396. However, you should monitor your cooking as the 400 deg may be more than as needed.

Another way to see what levels you could cook at for different things is to check out our De'Longhi recipe book app this has a lot of recipes where you can check for something similar to what you are cooking and see what the suggested setting is. Because of our rapid surround cooking system in the MultiCuisine things tend to cook alot faster. its available for free in apple or google store. see the link below.

Is the a place I can buy a recipe for this machine
I did actually answer but can't seem to see it.
There is an online recipe book that you can down load.
I'm still finding my way around it.
Chip setting would be about 200C.
Cake setting would be about 180 this is good for muffins as well.
It's a bit of trial and error. You will have to alter the power level to suit what you are cooking.
I am rather dissapointed that there is very little info on it and so few recipes.. Hopefully we can keep letting others know as we find things out.
I’m with you Sue, I’m just guesswith mine, so far all good, I’m very happy with my Cuisine cooker using it every day, loving it

I purchased the model #1396 for my partner for Chistmas. Has anyone else found it noisy? He thinks it's from the fan. I've had a cheaper air fryer and it didn't make any noise. Just wondering if they are noisy or if it's faulty with the fan out of alignment? Help please
Soukyaasked
I’m looking at purchasing one of these but need to know if you can cook two things at once in the 1396 model, ie fish and the chips or chicken and chips. Or if not how long it might take to do both?
Thanks in advance
1 answer
It's a single tray with a single cooking option at a time, although there's 2 trays to choose from, one pan like and another insert to have oil run off. Unless the cooking method you choose is going to suit both dishes you're cooking, ie. Fan grill. And fit within the same tray, it's really not going to work.

Hello, I purchased a Delonghi MultiCuisine this week and have been very hesitant to use it as I cannot find anywhere how long I need to cook a piece of chicken! I tried cooking a schnitzel last night with the oven function and it turned out burnt on the outside and raw in the middle! I have read through the manuals and have been finding it very difficult to find info online. I would love to know what the 4 levels of heat are actually equivalent to.

I haven't really cooked any thing else other than chips. Sorry I can't help
In the book look for Cooking Tables and then Meat - Poultry. I just base most of my chicken on this but turn down the power level 1 less than it says and I just keep checking with a skewer if the juice runs clear from the hole where you put the skewer the chicken is ready or you can buy one of those meat thermometers if you like.

What is the clean up like for things like sausages that spatter?
And are the parts dishwasher safe?
And can you cook things like chips and fish fillets etc from frozen?
3 answers
clean up is easy as its one big dish that can be removed which also makes serving easy. ive always just handwashed as it does not take long at all to clean and will keep the nonstick parts better for longer. you can cook anything from frozen its gret
I have cooked 6 sausages in there in 5 minutes just wash by hand no splatter
I was advised the lid and all the parts were dishwasher safe and they seem fine so far. This may not be the case though?
