Machine won't feed water through when either button pressed. Any suggestions?

There could be an air pocket. Remove water tank again the check connection. Press lever down and do a lungo shot without pop and repeat until water comes through. Might take 10-15 tries.
My machine simply does not perforate the coffee pods at the front to allow the water to pass through, why would that be?

My milk is not getting hot. Its only lukewarm and frothy. Can can I fix this please?

I always put mine in the microwave for 20 seconds even though the milk gets hot. I am one of those people that love my coffee very very hot. The girl in the coffee shop told me once on their machine if you like it hot say a very hot coffee as apparently machines in the shop have two settings. One is hot and the other very hot. If it is only very warm
there could be a fault and Nespresso will fix your machine in a jiffy. They have the best service I have ever known they go out of their way to help you.
Have spoken to several people with this machine and they don't encounter heating problems. Our citi heats well and the thermostat works well. Take it back to Nespresso, even if warranty period expired. If they can afford George Clooney, they can afford to replace your frother. You just shouldn't have this problem. Cleaning the frothers is another issue....the milk burns onto the bottom and there is little you can do about it.
Thanks guys for your help. Sue I get your point but why buy it if you have to put it in the microwave. And TQ this machine is only 3 days old so not out of warranty.

Does the milk frother turn off when frothing is completed.?

Yes, the frother switches off after the frothing and heating process. The auto timer seems good. The problem appears to be that the heat is applied in one very small area....hence burning the milk a tad. After about 30 uses, the frother is very hard to clean due to burnt on residue. We still clean the frother as best we can and still use it. The problem does not seem to affect the taste of the coffee. But the cleaning is an absolute pain...working in a very confined area and the burn marks are REALLY burnt on. Would not recommend the machine based on this final aspect. Hope helps. T.
Yes I can say that the milk frother does turn off after heating the milk. Once finished, I immediately rinse and clean the inside of the milk frother. I tend to disagree with the above about heat applied to just one small area. Mine completely heats the whole of the milk. I've certainly used mine well over the 30 uses since I got it. I use mine constantly every day.
With cleaning inside, I just pop out the frother gadget and washes that and thoroughly rinses and drys before putting back on. For inside, I find to clean up just a little bit more, I use one of those magic erasers at the end of the day of usage of the milk frother container. Honestly, I love this coffee machine and can highly recommend it.
