Great tent EXCEPT for the poles
Nice roomy tent. Construction average, but good for the price. Pretty quick to put up and take down. Well designed tent, and the geodesic pole design certainly makes it much more stable than a typical dome tent. Poles seem to be standard fiberglass - have snapped 10 sections so far in about 50 nights use, and can see that the remaining sections will all soon go. Typically they snap where they go into the ferrule of the adjoining pole. Ferrules seem to be of sub-standard metal and soon stretch out of shape. Replacement poles for the entire tent cost more than a new tent, and apparently poles aren't under warranty.
Will be looking for another brand in my next tent.

Agree about the "warranty" its not even good enough for toilet paper. Our diamantina sheratin majestic, was in a storm, we had tips snap, and out tent colape. When we tried to claim it under warranty,... Read more
we were told poles werent covered under warranty. in order to claim some popped seams (that happened in the same storm) we were made to jump through hoops. They wanted photographic evidence that our tent had been set up and put away correctly everytime it had been used!!!! we ended up going to dept of fair trading, and got some poles mended, and the seams sewn up. I agree we will no buy another tent from them again
