not the same as what it used to be years ago however its still a great soap for all skins to use in the shower or in the bath.

years ago it was so much creamier and softer on the skin. Dont leave it sitting in water as it will disappear and basically dissolve.

I rand Dove as I had bought about 20 bars at the special price. They did say the formula had recently changed. That, plus the fact I think it may have been destined for another country (lots of different language on the pack) means I won't be buying again. Pity, I absolutely LOVED the "old" Dove soap.

It was NOTHING like my previous Dove bars. I bought this on special at Coles and it smelt different, felt different and didn't have the same rich, creamy result.

Dove Beauty Cream Bar is a very soft soap to use. Excellent lather and a great soap for using to shave legs. Very good for sensitve skin. Available in great four packs excellent for the family. Holds its shape very well fits perfectly into ones hand. Moisturising level is Good. Suitably for whole family young and old.
Fairly Expensive. Tends to go mushy if left in a wet area for a long time also seems to run out faster than other brands of soap.

i tried this after seeing it apparently had 1/4 moisturising cream, unfortunately was not that impressed. my skin felt quite stripped after using it and became quite dry and itchy. if you have dry skin a would not reccommend using this soap as it is definately not moisturising.

I have had dry skin all my life and finding a soap that's not to harsh and dries me out even moreso, has always been a problem. Part of the problem too is that the scent of some soaps makes my skin worse. So when Dove became available and I started hearing good reports about it, I decided to try it. I'm now converted and I love it. I love the fact that it comes in a cardboard box that holds its shape quite well as I take a bar in a container and a spare one when I travel as the hotel soaps are just really bad for my skin. Highly recommended for people who have sensitivity to perfumed soaps and / or have very dry skin.

I have only used this for 2 months 2 winters ago when i needed extra moisture for my skin.It was not very hard like other soaps in the market.Although it leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturized at one stage my skin became really oily.I also noticed that to wash it off completely i needed more water -otherwise you could smeel the soap in your hands when you tried to eat something.Also we were on Water restriction level 4 that time.Hence had to stop using this soap.

I love Dove beauty cream bar. It has 1/4 cup of moisurizer that really does leave you feeling silky smooth and soft. Does not leave a 'scum' mark in the bath. I think that it is a little expensive, however this has not deterred me from buying dove products, I have been using dove beauty bar since it first came out and even take with me on holidays. I recommend you try it.

This soap is a really good basic bar soap that is gentle on the skin. I like that it is 1/4 moisturizer and gentle enough to use on my face (though I don't). While I don't buy this soap anymore, I still think that it is one of the best bar soaps I have used.
I really like this soap bar, it feels very nice on the skin, and has a mild but pleasant scent. The shape of it is also nice, as it fits well in the hand.
Dove test on animals, therefore I don't purchase it anymore.

I think this is great value for money and it space efficient for in both the shower and for storing spare bars in the cardboard. I recommend it, especially for those who do not share they’re body wash.
I am a big fan of these Dove bars. They leave the skin feeling great and smelling fresh. It gives the clean of a good body wash while only taking up the space of a bar of soap.
My husband doesn’t like it. I think he has an issue with using a bar in general, like Joey said to Chandler in Friends about sharing soap, “Think of the last thing I washed and the first thing you wash!”

I like Dove products and I have always been a fan of the Dove soap range, it is easy to use and does not dry out my skin at all.
This soap is really nice to use and has a nice mild and gentle feel about it. It is one of the better ranges of soaps and I have found that I can easily use it on my face with no reaction at all. It feels like it has left your skin moisturised. Quite a cheap soap for the quality.
It is a bit expensive but I think for the quality that it is it is worth it.

I have been using this product for years, I love it! Lathers up really well, and doesn't dry my skin out like other soaps. I really like the fragrance too.
My main complaint is the price, but I can normally find it on special. I have also noticed that if you leave it in water too long, the bar will get very soft and start to fall apart. It doesn't last as long as other soaps, but it is still a great product.

I sometimes buy these soaps when they are on sale at the supermarket. They are soft and gentle on the skin, I find them mild enough to use on my face as well. They lather well and feel nice when applied but I am not a huge fan of the scent. Overall a nice soap but are a little expensive as supermarket soaps go.

my overall opinion is that this soap is great! it is the only soap that stops my dry skin and makes it soft, i feel really good when i get out of the shower after using it as i feel fresh and clean. other then the price there is nothing wrong with this product at all
i love dove beauty bar it makes my skin so smooth and no dry skin which is great asnd they also come in all different sorts which i have tried and love also, this is the only soap that i do buy as it does wonders for my skin and it also last for a long time which is great
for soap its self it is very expensive and only comes on sale every now and again,if the price was reasonable then there would be no problems what so ever with the soap

I love the feel of this on the skin. Smells really nice but not overpowering. Overall, we'd definately keep some of this in the house at all times - especially for when guests come to stay.

overall, i really like this soap. am sensitive to perfumed products, and dove doesnt seem to bother me as it isnt highly scented. have not noticed that my skin is more moisturised after using, but it isnt dried out either. my husband uses this brand as well, in fact he wont use any other!

It is more expensive than other soaps on the market but I find it moisturises the best. It is often on special so just buy up when it is!

Great for people with dry skin. It smells wonderful and leaves my skin feeling soft. However it doesn't seem to do very much for my son or my husband who both have very oily skin

The soap bar doesn't seem to last very long

This soap feels great on my skin and I love the smell but I seem to use it more quickly then other brands. I think the price is good for the product. I wouldn't say it adds that much more moisture to your skin than other soap brands, but it didn't dry it out so that is a positive! You can get the sensitive range which is also very good.
Lathers easily, feels nice, smells nice and easy to hold bars.
It seems this one doesn't last as long as other products, I think this is due to how quickly it lathers.

The Dove cream bar is a great substitute for soap which leaves your skin feeling soft with a lovely fragrance. I find that it goes much faster than soap though, so you will need to be careful with how you use it and where you store it. Although it is considerably more expensive than regular soaps, the Dove cream bar is a high quality product that leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturised and useful for people who have problems with sensitive or dry skin.

I dont mind dove as a brand and the Cream Bar is much cheaper compared to their liqued soap which is always way to expensive. The actual soap is not bad, it feels nice while using it and is good to shave your legs with, but as I said before my skin still feels a little dry after use.
I like the texture of Dove Beauty Cream Bar. Also its quite cheap in comparison to liqued soaps and washes.
It does sort of dry out my skin a little. Even though they have tried to make it very different from other soaps it still leaves my skin a little dry.
