Very poor indeed.
It seems that this industry (electronic tax return lodgement) has some poor players.
There are many negative reviews over quite a few companies.
Elodge fails in communication (I have to do all the communicating), they seem to have trouble forming a file on the taxpayer ("I do not have access to that piece of data", "I cannot see where you have lodged your return" (despite them advising earlier that the return was lodged).
Generally, a poor outfit.
Avoid.

Hi Richard,
You are able to lodge your individual tax returns electronically through our website from the 2007 tax year onwards. Regarding your payment summaries, if you contact the tax office they will advise you of any payment summaries that they have relevant to the tax years that you wish to lodge. Please phone ATO 13 82 61 or write to GPO Box 9990, in your capital city.

In this situation the taxpayer had previously lodged a tax return through another tax agent and did not declare this, thus causing a rejection of the lodgement from the tax office. We then attempted to resolve the situation as quickly as possible, however the processing of the return was then delayed by the tax office as they had to undertake an audit on the account.
