Great tool, the automation with Bill's is great, a massive time saver. I wish they had the ability to connect to sites like squarespace without needing a third party and the extra costs that come along with it.

Fabulous staff at MYOB. Even though some are in Kiwi land. :-). They are lovely too. The great thing is they are learning all our countries needs as well.

I hope everyone appreciates the effort these programmers are putting in.

The speed at which this is being produced is u precedents.

Waiting for a phone call.
I have a problem with JobSeeker (SR174546695191) and am having difficulties in getting it resolved.
I was advised that I would receive a phone call today but nothing happened.

The wait time to talk to someone needs to be taken into consideration. Luckily I was working from home No one has this amount of time to wait on the phone while you're at work

It was lovely to get workable advice. I was stressed, but everything evaporated with me relaxed enough to see the answers.
The reason for the inability to get into my MYOB was due my having changed my phone. So the authenticator needed to be re set up.

Able to work on my Myob 2022 again and able to process payroll. Now everyone is happy. Was completed very well.
There should be another way this could be done. As I am new Bookkeeper and didn't know who the administrator was.

Frustrating

I have used an older version of Myob for 10 years and Myob are making it almost impossible for me to use it now, even though it is all I need. I "chatted" with a very unhelpful man trying to find out about updating and have left with no answers. Not sure where to turn now.

Easy to work with.

I find reporting quick and downloading to excel is a perfect option.
Have a basic program and having the understanding that as the church grows we have the option to upgrade at any time and not lose any data.

Product support turnaround time slow

I favour the MYOB product, however I have found that the telephone or chat response time for product support queries has been increasing over the past couple of years or so. Frustratingly I have found that the first people I speak to are inexperienced and I have needed to be put through to a ‘specialist’ on a significant proportion of my queries. The on hold time yesterday for my call to be transferred to the specialist was 1 hr 45 minutes (I was advised it would be 40 minutes), luckily I was able to continue working on other matters while waiting.
We are in difficult times, however yesterday was not an isolated incident.

As I only use the banking function and payroll it seems to get easier to use each time there is an update. The technical support is excellent especially if you have the maintenance contract.

Once again access to Tech Support remains a challenge for MYOB, making it less attarctive to market MYOB PRODUCTS AND SERVICES. Consider improving response times to attacket more clients to MYOB.

Forced upgrade

MYOB lock us out of our files "due to the age of the software", claiming we need to upgrade to a SaaS product. It means we have to call them at least once a year to get the files unlocked. Poor marketing

Needs to get up to date with proper cloud accounting status. The interminable updates are not necessary - just write the software properly in the first place and automatically do sensible updates.

Once I finally managed to speak to someone by phone (took well over 1.5 hrs, but then we are in lockdown and everyone is having to manage as best as they can at present), the help I received was much better than trying to get support online. We managed to sort out all the queries I had. Many thanks.

I need a report that shows GST detail with all sales and purchases in the month. MYOB has suggested I run 3 reports for this and not one of them gives me any of the info I need.
I need to be able to reconcile the figures in MYOB back to my BAS statement so I need to filter down to the individual transactions....I am using MYOB Essentials with Payroll

Hi Mary, the GST detailed report will based on tax codes listed on the transaction. If you are running that for an accrual basis it will show you all the transactions for that month.

If you are on an cash basis, the report will show all the payment transactions. As it's reporting on the payments it may not be reporting all those transactions recorded within the month i.e. invoice was recorded in the month but the payment has not come in until the following month. As such, you may need to combine this report with an accrual based GST detailed report to get a full list of transactions recorded in that period.

What does the Error message "Account Max Level"mean?

I'm not good with myob I get help from a friend who is an account, but I think it could be that you have a limit of how many accounts you have started in MYOB think the max is 4. eg personal account, buisness account, sports club account if you are a secretary doing the club accounts. hope that helps. someone else may help more sorry.

Why the myob invoices app gets SO slow and even comes back with errors when trying to put a new line, or new item. Also gets SO slow when is the end of the month. Could you please explain
