Can you use Elmore Oil in the bath? Is it toxic if you do?
2 answers
Hey Nel, There appear to be no toxic ingredients listed at all, but I don't think I'd use it in the bath. I Elmore Oil's website and this is their email address: [email protected]. They'd be the best people to contact to answer your question.
Hey Barb, thank you so much for your response. The best people? I did contact them but I was not happy with their non care factor. A very abrupt answer was given. "In future follow the instructions on the bottle". And yes I did end up with irritation and an infection and did require antibiotics, so perhaps it should be noted on the bottle as "do not add to bath".

In regards to training when is it best to apply Elmore oil for shin splints? Before training or the morning of?
2 answers
I would use it before AND after training. It's not like deadly lotions and drugs you buy that you can only use a certain amount of time each day and only so many days and have to stop. During winter I use Elmore oil 2-3 times a day - morning, pm and when I go bed... :)
I often use the oil on my knees before I go for a walk, but I couldn't say for sure that it actually delays the onset of pain. However, prior to using Elmore Oil I couldn't walk very far because my knees would start hurting. Now they don't. I use it as often as I need throughout the day because as "Donna E" said you don't have to restrict your usage because it has 'suspect' ingredients. I'd try it before and see how you go. You've got nothing to lose - except maybe shin splints!! Good luck.

Is Elmore oil safe for topical use during pregnancy?

I know it's best to ask a GP but does anyone know is it ok to use Emore oil during pregnancy?
2 answers
Elmore Oil is made from natural ingredients and should be no problem to most people, including pregnant women. However, you can ask the manufacturers: https://elmoreoil.com.au/ and go to their 'ask a question' page.
Apparently it is quite safe and many naturopaths recommend it for pregnant women because it is safe...

I have been using the spray oil for 10 days now - with great results. However, I have developed a very itchy red (spotty) rash where I've applied the oil - what causes this and how can I counteract it?
4 answers
Sorry can't help you Hope it not oil as it is pretty damn good
Sadly I think it is as the rash is confined to the one arm where I applied the oil.....but it would take more than a mere rash to stop me using this wonder oil........thank you for your reply
I have not had any reaction and still use it regularly. The Elmore's oil site would be a good place to look. They are helpful.

I have only used for pain from arthritis - but hope it works for your partner too!
All you can hope for with Elmore Oil,is PAIN RELLIEF. It's NOT a cure all and does not claim to be so. If you want to try another treatment for back pain and disc problems, try Prolotherapy. It can help to heal the problem in some cases. Google it. It might help as it has me.
The main page will show you Dr. Margaret Taylor.
Dr Taylor is not accepting further patients but she has trained many other Doctors around Australia.
Definitely worth trying won't cure but may help with pain G

My arthritis is in my fingers. I had wrist surgery in November after a fall. My fingers became very swollen and still are. I have been only using the Elmore Oil for 3 days. Should I be feeling some relief yet?
2 answers
Hi Kakey, Keep using it for a minimum of one - two weeks. I did feel a difference after this time - and yes I was sceptical after a few days too. Consistency is the key :)
Hi Kakey,
For me the relief was immediate. I applied it in the evening and felt better in the morning. However my problem was muscular. So it does make sense that it would take some time before it penetrates to the joints.
Best of luck.

How to apply Elmore Oil? How many kinds of Elmore Oil do you have? My father now is suffering in joints pain. He can't sleep because of to much pain. Can you advice me the kind of Elmore Oil that we can apply to my father's joint's pain? I hope you will give me answer as soon as possible. Thank you so much. God bless.

Hello Rald, my wife suffers from severe arthritis, RA, she takes steroids and anti-immune medications, she uses Elmore oil in liquid form straight onto the joints on her hands, very effective in controlling the pain, though it does not work for everyone, give it a try and see, she is very happy with the results, hope this helps. Steve.
Hi Rald. My father also uses it in its liquid form straight onto his knees where he has the pain. I really feel for your father as mine is the same in not being able to sleep due to his intense pain. I recommend that you at least give it a try as a means of hope for your father if nothing else coz i know from experience that its horrible seeing them in so much pain. Good luck.
