Just moved into a rental property that has this model - although I turn the oven temparature to the maximum - I cannot get the temparature (with oven thermometer) above 200 - and it takes a really long time to get there.

Does the DI664EI have Flame Failure Safety Devices for the Gas cooktop

Hi! I'm having trouble with one of the gas burners not lighting, or if it does light the flame is all to one side. I think it may be clogged up, are the parts that come off dishwasher safe? Just the round burner parts, not the heavier grate-looking part, that's too heavy for the dishwasher! Thanks!

The gas oven ignites but then keeps going out. It was installed in July 2018 and installed in August 2018 so should still be under warranty. Should I contact the installer or contact your customer service number.

Hi Erin - the manufacturer's warranty is 2 years. If your appliance is out of warranty, we can refer you to a service person in the your local area. Please call our customer service team on 1300 307 917 for assistance with this. You will find the model number located on the storage door underneath the oven door. When you open this small door the number is on the inside. Thank you

Here, many voiced their concern over DI965MVI3 e.g. 'getting dangerously hot', 'electric ignition failure', 'can not hold the heat' slow to heat up' 'poor customer support'etc. Have you guys addressed these issues? I have ordered one DI965MVI4 but considering cancelling the order reading these reviews. Please reply.

I used the electric oven griller earlier today now this evening i cannot get any gas coming thru any hob or oven not sure if related. Other gas appliances in house work and stopcock has not been touched. Any idea what the prob is and how to fix? Thanks for any help

The only thing that didn't break was lighter switch . Contact company even if out of warranty they still have an obligation as these stoves are so faulty. If no satisfaction get in touch with fair trading. Hope this helps you Annie.

Do you mean that DI965MVI3's ignition does not controlled automatically through the control knob?
Hi Paul - there is a separate ignition button to ignite the cook top / oven on this model. When turning the oven on you need to hold in the ignition button, whilst doing so hold in and turn the oven knob.

What is the difference between the DI965MVI4 model and the DI965MVI3?

The main difference is that the DI965MVI4 has flame failure safety devices fitted to all burners.
If the flame extinguishes for any reason then the gas flow to the cooker shuts off.
The ignition is also now automatically operated through the control knob. Otherwise they are essentially the same.
Is the whole outside of the stove supposed to be hot when the oven is on where the dials of the clock and knobs are?
No, there is a fault with the seals. you will also find that it does not maintain a steady temperature.

We had to take the oven door off because it didn't close properly so my husband made a latch to keep it closed and discovered there is no insulation in the range at all. this is why the whole range is hot to touch and does not keep the heat. I don't use the oven in summer. Too bloody hot. Our timer died the first few months and one cooker has to be manually lit. Emilia is a complete heap of rubbsh.
How to change hinges?
I'm sorry but I have no idea how to change the hinges. That is not one of the problems we've had.

The gas fitter suggested the Emilia DI865E13 800mm width to replace Eurolec oven. I have a quick read of the product review and is having some misgivings.
1.How many units of this new range have been sold in Australia since release in Dec 2012 ?
2. Does your subsidiary in Australia stock and can eaisly provide spare parts at a reasonable price ?
3. How have the manufacturer improved on the previous range ?
The 6 reviews commented from 10 Oct 2011 to 5 Dec 2013 on your DI865 previous range were terrible.
This may suggest that the inital 2 reviews commented from 29 May 2009 to 7 Feb 2011 were either extremely biased or faked or a marketing ploy to attract new customers.
The review made on 27 Mar 2014 about the exploding glass door shaterring glass to bits and malfunctioning digital display is so terrible that it could be a competitor gimmick to distract your new range but again, it could be true.

I have Emilia D1865MVI almost 2 years now when I try to turn the oven on hold the nob for long enough when I release it,it turns off.What could be the problem there? thanks for help

It could be the flame failure device if fitted malfunctioning (Point 3 page 4 of above manual) or it could be the thermostat malfunction (page 5 of above manual). There might be other suggestions in the manual as I have not time to read it all at the moment. I'd suggest an internet search might turn up something. Just type the brand name and model number together with the words 'oven problem' in Google or some other search engine.
