Enviroheat Heat Pump Water Heater

My previous hot water system had died and was replaced excellently by JR Gas and Water. Not only looks sleek and futuristic - but is much quieter than my last hot water system, which I could hear all the way up on the 2nd floor. Works perfectly for a household of 3 people and was installed without any issues.

For two people between Spring and Autumn the unit is fine. For three people it does not cope at all. We have already had one unit replaced because it was faulty. The unit we have now decides every day how much the temperature needs to drop before the unit will turn on. Some days it is a 5 degrees decrease before it will turn on and some days it is a 12 degrees decrease. There is no consistency. In winter in Victoria the unit works very badly and we have had cold water many winter mornings. I think the unit is very noisy and if l were our neighbours l would be complaining about the noise.

Like the other ACT user, we have terrible performance of this unit in winter. Although the tank indicates it is at max temperature and full, our 250l tank drains after filling up a single 100l bath leaving no hot water until the next day. The manufacturer tells us there is nothing wrong and we should just not use our bath.
If you live in a cold climate look elsewhere.

Had a few options provided by JR Gas & Water and decided to go with Enviroheat as they highly recommended it compared to other brand name that I wanted to install. Not only it fits my budget well, the installation done by JR Gas & Water was quick and tidy. The Enviroheat unit has done its job so far with not too much noise but will advise keep them away from windows (min 3 meters away) as it can be loud depending on your tolerance.

The heat pump replaced a gas storage unit. It is timed to come on mid-day and usually takes a couple of hours. It provides all the water we need for a family of five and has halved are gas bill. We have solar panels and there has not been a noticeable difference in the electricity bill.

We had an enviroheat heat pump installed. The guys did a great job. The website is great and they will actually do a quote without charging you. Quotes were in depth and gave multiple installation choices.

They promptly fitted a hot water pump after discussions and suggestions on which would be the best way to proceed. J R Gas & Water are good to deal with giving you confidence in their work.

This "heat" pump does not provide enough hot water for our family of 3 to have a short shower each day and use no other hot water in the house. The "boost" function takes hours to increase the hot water by even a couple of degrees. It is woefully inadequate and I would strongly recommend against wasting your money on it.

The other problem is we have to run water for longer with this heat pump before it gets hot resulting in huge water wastage and much higher water bills.

Recently had a solar hot water system taken off and an Enviro heat pump system installed by JR Gas and Water. These guys were fantastic, communication was excellent and the installation done perfectly. The unit looks great and is a quality product that runs quietly and efficiently. A professional service all round.

My old solar hot water system was gone and I decided to go with the 250L Enviroheat heat pump system.
It is much simpler and more efficient than the old one. It looks good with beautiful colors and a tough build.
It was installed just behind my bedroom. I can hear a little noise when it operates but it was set to run between 6:00am to 9:00pm. It is no problem to me.

We had an Enviro Heat Heat Pump water tank installed by JR Gas and Water. So far the unit is working flawlessly. I do recommend placing it away from bedroom windows as humming sound can be heard at night when the neighbourhood is quiet. JR Gas and Water was very prompt with replies to enquiries. Unit has been working well summer and I winter, and capacity is fine for 2people. Controls are pretty straightforward once you find the video. Coupled with solar we have had reduction in both gas and electricity charges. A suggested improvement is a Bluetooth app to change settings and view the temperature etc indicators, similar to the solar inverter if it doesn't greatly add to the cost

We had an Enviro Heat Ambient Heat Pump water heater installed by JR Gas & Water. It is literally noiseless and with top quality workmanship and installation components. Very happy indeed
