I’m finding the knobs easy to bump, have seen the hot plate on by accident twice since I’ve bought this product a month ago, is there any child lock or product I can buy to stop this from happening? Thanks

My oven door won’t open
I took the oven tray out, shut the door, turned on to heat up and the oven door only opens a couple of cms
There’s definitely nothing stuck as there was only the oven tray inside that I took out

My temperature gauge isn’t working . When I turn my oven on fan bake the fans work but the temperature doesn’t heat up
Hi Justine, I'm sorry to hear of this. It sounds as it is running on defrost mode (usually fan only). You may want to check that the bottom element has not blown as this could also be why there is not heat on that function. Thanks

Our oven blew one of the fan force elements, we have now replaced the element, however the oven still dose not work. The cooktop is working but not the oven. The timer display is not on and none of the oven circuit is working. What would be the cause of this?
Return to where it was purchased for refund or contact Euromaid. Sounds like all the other faulty stoves.

OMG! I was going to purchase this oven from Harvey Norman but after reading all these terrible reviews - of the same thing happening time and time again and the terrible customer service. I am going to continue my research and look at another brand! Any suggestions??

The FC9PS has been available for sale for more than 5 years, with 1000's sold. You will note that there are only nine reviews for the product. Hey Ruben, where can I get parts and wiring diagram to get the one I own fixed.
Thermosat replaced but still no go, technician can not find a fault. $249 inc his fee.
Replaced the grill element another $260
The grill will not get hot, but just warm?
I guess the next thing it the gear switch !

How do i set the clock?
You will need to turn your oven off at the power and turn it back on and that clock will be flashing then you use the + button to go forward and - to go back then the middle button sets it

Just ordered a Euromaid FC9PS from Harvey norman. Not sure if I should cancel the order after reading problems above. Have all the issues been fixed or are there still problems?
The issues have been "fixed", but have no confidence in the product. The replacement was faulty within months. Their preferred technicians to carry out repairs etc are extremely poor on customer service, not calling or following up as promised, rude and dismissive. Cancel your order while you still can!

I would absolutely reccomend this oven, i love it i have a small problem with the internal light but that is all and it is in the process of being rectified the stuff that I had spoke to on the phone were absolutely fantastic and could not be more helpful
Hello i am needing help with my FC9PS 900MM oven the lights are on inside when all knobs are turned off and its self heating can not turn it off unless i turn the switchboard off outside please help
Thermostats are faulty with this model. Get a replacement oven. Do not settle for a fix of parts as the constant heating damages other areas of the oven such as seals, circuitry, knobs, glass doors have blown out on some. Taken us almost 4-5 years and the replacement we got was faulty within months.
Get a brand new oven off then, or full refund if you can.

Can anyone advise where I can get replacement knobs for this oven? I have had no end of trouble with this oven with things having to be fixed or replaced while under warranty. Was a complete nightmare.
Now the knobs are just breaking off. No excessive force being applied. I have managed to fix one with glue but the other one shattered inside and can't be fixed. So tired of having to get this oven fixed for the price I paid for it!!!
Demand a replacement oven. So many various issues, with so much risk to the owners and families. If our replacement breaks again, we will be requesting full refund and buy another brand.

My oven won’t heat up, I’ve read the manual and it says something about putting it in manual mode, but not how to do that. This keeps happening all the time, it’s a role the dice and hope it works scenario here. Help me please.
Hi Leanne contact Euromaid It will not be you I'm sorry you made the same mistake as me & others in buying this product..read other worrying reviews. The one I purchased for my elderly parents had to be replaced. So many issues I regret not paying more and buy another brand. All the best .. consumer rights
We had years of problems, terrible oven and worse customer service from Euromaid and their contracted technicians. We finally got a replacement oven, but told we wouldn't get a new warranty period from date of install. Get a refund, buy something else. Current oven working ok, but would never choose Euromaid again.

The FC9PS requires you to use the timer for the oven to operate. Alternatively, you can select manual mode by pressing the function button. If you need some further assistance feel free to give us a call on 1800 444 357.

ok I get the whole press the function button, but have no idea how to identify it's in manual mode, I spent two hours in front of the oven following the timer instructions and no matter what I did the oven wouldn't turn on - I work in IT, if I can't understand how to use this, god help others!

I bought this for my parents.
so I have not used it sorry.they had huge Issues with oven wiring. we have already had to send the first stove /Ovens back due to faulty wiring and issues with the first oven which I read online is an issue for others. after I had put the order in.
So phone them it can't be that hard unless it has fault. Kind regards Sue

Can anyone provide any help regarding what to do with a Euromaid oven cooktop model FC9PS. We have replaced the thermostat for the oven twice and now the oven either will not heat up at all in any mode or sometimes will only heat up to approx 60 degrees in convection or fan assisted grill mode (very rarely). The last time the repair guy replaced the thermostat, I noticed the back of the clock had some scorched connections. The repair guy said this was not an issue. I am not totally convinced this is the case.
Can anyone or even Euromaid suggest how to make the oven work? Thanks Greg

Hi, we are in a rented house which has schott ceran model fc9ps. Withing a week of use the silicon layer on cooktop heated and glued to the cooking fan. When cooking fan lifted the silicon was damaged. Do you have parts to replace only the silicon glass layer? Thanks. Nanda

You just need to reset the time on the oven

Already had the first oven replaced. The fan would not work. Looking at other reviews big mistake buying this as a gift for my elderly parents .. Sorry not having much luck with this brand at all.

My best response will be to contact where you purchased the oven from and ask them for a full refund and purchase a Westinghouse Oven instead. There are better ovens out there that do not explode. Highly recommend just getting a full refund and buy another better oven.
We have just had our oven installed please tell me we haven't bought a lemon? we paid good money for this product this makes me feel sick reading the reviews here :(
Since the second one went in we haven't had drama. It is still extremely hot (poorly insulated I suspect), the electrican says the top plate is nice and heavy which is good. It is very possible the first oven was from a batch that has since been improved on. I hope you have no issues.

Oven number 4 for us hasn't had an issue yet. There were issues with the door design on the first lot of shipments to oz. I would check your serial number and call the manufacturer direct to see if it's one from the original shipments.

When we first reported our exploding glass issue Euromaid admitted they already had some problems. What annoys me is that months later Scoobs has had the same problem. I would have thought there would have been a product recall. Oh well! that about sums up Harvey Norman and Euromaid.
When I got my Euromaid exchanged for a Westinghouse the build quality improvement is obvious. When the oven is nicely cooking at 200C I can put my hand on the glass on the outside of the oven to only receive a warm touch.
