This cooktop was only replaced 3 years ago and the fact that the burners are already rusting suggests to me that they are not of the best quality. My old cooktop did not have the same rusting problems...
Read more and it was over 10 years old. I have not changed my pots or methods of cooking and cleaning so why do I only have rusting problems now? The model is Everdure CBGS711.
I have recently moved into a house with an newly installed Everdure gas cooktop. It seems to be very difficult to control the flame intensity. If I turn the flame up high to boil water, the flame is so big it comes out the side of the pot and puts black soot on the sides of the pot & handle, even using the largest pot. As the flame isn't under the pot, the water doesn't boil.
If I turn the flame down low enough to remain under the pot, it will never boil the water.
Is it possible the stove has natural gas jets instead of gas bottle jets?
That is a question only the manufacturer can answer, mine is Natural Gas.

We had this cooktop for 5 years and have always had trouble starting the wok burner. It's ok when it's hot. Any suggestions?
No, as we don't have trouble at all. Sometimes if the igniter is out of place after my wife cleans the top. Then it might take longer to start.
Use matches when starting the wok top. Only advise i could provide.
