We decided to give this product a go with our Ragdoll Cat . He is 6kg so 1 tablet was given. Within 30 minutes he started going cross eyed, lethargic then his "3rd" eyelids (the internal ones) starting closing over his eye. They closed over completely and he was out of it. His face started turning this horrible grey colour and he looking severely unwell. I rang the after hours vet who advised that it was likely a severe reaction and to not use this product again. We have to watch him for 24 hours and crate him overnight so he doesn't fall off t...
Read morehings. I hope he is still breathing in the morning. We've never had an issue with any other products but this one is new to us and we will NEVER but it again. This product should NOT be allowed on the market. Also, there are NO warnings on the packet to advise of side effects- it says to contact your vet if any issues. Surely this is not allowed. I will be ringing Exelpet and lodging a complaint about this product. If my mate dies it's on them and I will take it further.
Purchased in February 2020 at Woolworths for $13.
