Hi,
This is a query relative to motorised awnings. I recently purchased a 4x3m Bariloche and the blinds don't full retract into the cassette. The motor seems to stop about 20mm from the fully retracted position. Is there any adjustment I should look out for? I can see two screws on the motor (red and white).

I purchased the 5m wide Bariloche awning. It is great. One question - when there is wind it tends to flip up (even lowish levels of wind). The angle adjusting system seems to allow this to happen. Is this the way it should be, or should the bolts be tighter to stop this happening?

Andrew G'day, re your question. May I suggest the following, contact your local Council and/or Shire Office to find out re Men's Shed they will more than likely be able to guide you down the right path. One other point to remember all bolts have a certain breaking tension, you must make sure you are not exceeding that tension.

Adrian, be careful with this company, simply the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The incorrect item was sent to us and they will not allow us to return it or swap it for the correct one, we even offered to pay extra to facilitate the process.

Yes, I bought 3. Over $1200 worth. Their courier, Hunter Express, arrived without notice a week later, without the facilities to even unload them off the truck. They expected the receiver to do heavy lifting. Could not contact either Hunter Express or Factory Fast (they don't answer their phones), so after 3 weeks of trying I cancelled the order. Factory Fast refused to refund, and fought the ebay/Paypal dispute for a month till I was finally granted a Paypal refund. I would never trust Factory Fast with a cent of my money.

Furthermore, they continue to send me spam emails daily despite me unsubscribing a dozen times.

Similar experience here.
Took over a month to deliver after the initial order was "4 business days".
When it did come, it was the wrong colour. They offered $80 to keep it. Told them "No, come and get it".
They asked me for a specific time to collect, told them 8am monday and that was confirmed. 30 mins late to work turned into a day off since they didnt show up until 2pm. And the van was too small, so they couldnt take it anyway.
Absolute imbeciles. Im going to do a charge back with my credit card company.

Thank you for your responses. Sorry to hear you had bad experiences. It took me a while to get hold of them and apparently Hunter Express didn't get the order. The blinds did arrive after a few days and they are perfect and so far running great. Thanks again, Carol

Does anyone have the contact details for Factory Fast? I have placed an order, the money has come out of my bank but I have no tracking number. I have sent emails to them through their Contact Us option but I have had no response....not even a receipt email. Any help would be much appreciated.

It took days to get an answer out of them. I warned them of their responsibility under consumer law, and got a reply. Am contacting accc to lodge a complaint about their shoddy practices this week.

Send them an email stating you're taking it up with Department of Fair Trading, that usually gets them interested.

I didn't order one of those... to be honest the products are o.k. they are not top quality but reasonable...it's their overall customer service that is the problem, if anything goes wrong, they do not accept responsibility for anything, you will not get a refund if the product is received faulty and the delivery company they use are pathetic.

What a stupid question to ask me.
How would I know Factory Fast's refund policy.
I made one satisfactory purchase and on that basis will purchase again.
Perhaps Chris did not read the instructions and was the cause of the problem.

I purchased a greenhouse from them, I erected as per the instructions, we had a heavy downpour over night and the greenhouse collapsed due to the cheap steel tubes used for the frame.
I took photos as instructed, to be told that I had damaged it myself.

I am wanting to order 5 sets of curtains of this site but after reading reviews I am a bit wary. Has anyone ordered the 100% block out curtains off here. If so did you have any problems?

Despite some terrible reviews here I had no issues with my order. I was kept informed about shipping etc and it arrived quickly. The item was just what I expected and I've had no problems with it. I suspect many complaints arise from unrealistic expectations about quality. They do sell a lot of cheap goods at the bottom end of the market. Perhaps order one set first.

Just hope whatever you order is exactly what you are after....there is NO FULL REFUND given by Factory Fast. I ordered a mirrored side table and there was a small chip taken out of it, I wouldn't have worried only it was at the front and clearly visible after many emails back and forth including photo's of the chip I was offered a 30% refund on the item....Extremely poor customer service.

In response to Shane Adams,I spoke to courier wen my damaged bed was delivered,he was complaining people were idiots in regard to having mirrored side tables delivered, he then went on to complain the delivery truck was terrible and a front wheel drive and it was always getting bogged and was flat out getting up the mountain.the man seemed highly stressed and resented having to deliver here.

I think this company needs to address how they do things an pick up the phone when needed and they would get a lot results and respect if this was the case. I do not trust them and I don not like their attitude.
