Range hood fail
We purchased this rangehood in 2012
* globes for lighting have bad connection problem
* electronic selector switches failed 6 years in & until repaired would click trying to select - had to leave light on
* cost $435 no doubt repair will end up similar cost - simple appliance should last longer

Horrible product, worst customer service
I bough this product but it broken after 1.5 years. I called their customer support but no response. After 8 weeks, I got a technician come to fix but don’t want to do a job. He left my house after 5 mins and could not open protector. I wrote email to complaint their unresponsiveness and unprofessional technician to CEO but he is even ruder and response with “you are ignored” !!!!!
Horrible product, terrible company, very unprofessional CEO!! No words I could describe how disappointed I am, never touch Fisher Paykel product again.

Good but noisey
We bought the HC90PCHTX1 for $475 with 5yr full replacement warranty. Its just been superseded by the HC90PCHTX2
$500 was our budget and this was the best looking one we could find for the price with a good warranty. The buttons along the front was another selling point, they are easy to push and being on the outside they don't get covered in oil and moisture from the pots below. The 2 halogen lamps illuminate the cooking area effectively.

2 is the sweet spot for noise/sucking power, on setting 3 it will suck everything out even with 2 pots boiling and frying up some meat on a skillet but the sound is so loud its actually annoying if your in the next room trying to watch TV.
