Best washing machine we have Ever owned
We can not recommend this machine highly enough, it is very quiet and works amazingly well. Our cloths come out almost dry and very clean, after having a bad experience of buying a terrible machine from Kogan we are thankful to Fisher & Paykel for the quality of their product. Excessively loud
My 10kg front loader is excessively loud and I can hear it from the bedrooms at the end of the house. When I had a technician come out to inspect it he said it was fine as he tested it with 4/5 towels and it didn’t make the noise it usually does, he claimed that I need to even my loads so I can’t wash bed sheets with clothing and towels separately etc and said that’s probably the reason it’s loud. When I explained that it was a 10 kg washer and I can't get that amount in it, he said that its drum can’t hold that much in terms of the volume of t
... Read morehe clothing so I filled it less but it was still loud. The only time it’s not loud is when it’s half full or less so that defies the energy efficiency and water consumption that is advertised which is a main reason for the purchase because I now need to wash more frequently.
Leaks & ends prematurely
It cannot wash a queen doona without leaking from the door. (I guess the doona pushes on the door and the suction is too weak.) Also if you try to wash more than one bath towel at the same time, the machine terminates prematurely without rinsing or spin-drying the load: it took me six hours of manual restarting to get it to finish a load of towels. Finally, the water pump makes a very loud popping sound when it turns off so you cannot run it at night. I returned it and got the Teka TFLW10 which seems much better.

Great machine
I have had no issue with this machine and I have used the 20 minute steam cycle for last minute stuff but mostly I use the 30 minute cycle, I was a top loader person but I will never go back now

Looks OK so far
So far so good, have had the machine for a few days, so will see how it goes. Love the light in the machine, and how you can adjust a certain preset functions, hate there is no wifi to connect to the app for monitoring though & wish the end chime was louder and longer. Had the Samsung ww95n64frpw, which stopped working, thanks the the logic boards. ( same issue everyone else is having) it only lasted 5 years.

Perfect for our large family
Amazing washing machine. Clothes are so much fresher now. Love the stop and add clothing button.Quick wash is awesome for our large family too. 10kg machine easily does quilts etc too. The light in the drum is also very handy..For our big family of 4 adults 2 teenagers and a baby this machine gets used everyday atleast 2 loads.. Its perfect for us.

Worked well to start with, now keeps leaking
We were happy with the machine when we first purchased it from Harvey Norman, however since it is no longer covered by warranty, it's started leaking randomly. One load it will work ok, next water will stream out of the machine either from the door or underneath the machine. I've checked the hoses and no issues with them, so it's something inside the machine that's gone faulty.
Additionally the plastic trim around the front door snapped off, very poorly manufactured and just glued on.

Great family washing machine (WH1060P3)
I bought this machine a couple of weeks ago to replace a F&P 10kg washer I had that finally died after 13 yrs. The new machine has a few new features that the old one didn't have like Steam Refresh and a cute little interior light (I never knew I needed an interior washing machine light until I finally got one, now I can't live without it!). I've only used the Steam Refresh once and it didn't really blow me away, but all the other features that come standard are great. I also received a 5 year warranty that I was pretty happy with.

... Read moree is large enough to wash king sized doonas and blankets, along with a couple of sets of queens sheets together. A standard Everyday wash takes 59 minutes and uses 86L of water and it will do my whole small family's clothing load at once. It washes well (I noticed my old F&P was starting to leave detergent residue on my black clothes, this one doesn't). Overall, I'd definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a large machine for a good price.
Less than a week onto my second machine
I only got this machine on Monday the 5th April, found water on the laundry floor the next evening. Repairer came couldnt find a leak and hasnt leaked since, but they found a cracked and broken weight. Fisher and paykel are replacing the whole machine. Finger crossed as we moved from Bosch *also faulty to Fisher and Paykel.

Hi I have had my machine for 3 months now and have noticed an ongoing odour from the machine a damp smell .There is no water leaking underneath I checked. I wiped out the inside of the rubber seal with a spray detergent it was not dirty. We also let out the water from hose outlet on the right bottom of the machine. I have completed a drum clean today and that did help last time but I am not happy if this is an ongoing issue.What could be causing this? I use top quality Omo and believe I am using enough detergent .
