Great washing machine!
WashSmart WH7560P2 (7.5kg)This washing machine runs very smoothly and provides a fantastic wash of our clothes!
Everything comes out bright and fresh.
It runs quietly and efficiently.
I love that you can add in clothes that may have been forgotten to be put in. One feature I do miss from my old machine though, is the feature to create my own cycle setting, which you can’t do with this one.
Overall I’m very happy with this machine!
Quiet! Washes well too
WashSmart WH8060P2 (8.0kg)I actually had to check that the machine was working when we installed it and ran the first wash... it was such a big difference to our old front loader (which served us well). After starting to do our washing with it I noticed a difference to how clean the clothes would come out. I’m a cloth nappy Mum and so I can do these with a pre-wash and an extra rinse cycle for my bubs easily and they come out great! We’ve had this machine since January and we are now about to replace the dryer with a f&p condenser dryer.

Excellent machine

They recommended the Fisher and Paykel Smart wash. Easy to use, quiet and does an excellent job. Harvey Norman Townsville staff couldnt be more helpful. It was delivered, installed and old one removed for $50. One very happy customer!

Quiet and fast

My clothes don't stretch even when spun at high rates like above 800. 7.5kg is plenty of room for 2 of us for a whole weeks worth of clothes. Love it!

Fantastic washing machine!
WashSmart WH8560P2 (8.5kg)Coming from a top loading machine, we were a little concerned that a front loader wouldn't do the same job but it does! This machine does an exceptional job and it doesn't take forever to clean your clothes. The "Everyday" cycle is done in just under an hour while the "Delicates" cycle only takes 45 minutes. We love the fact that you can customise the temperature and spin speed on all of the programmed cycles (that we use) and our clothes feel softer and cleaner than ever before. The 8.5kg capacity is great too. Highly recommended!

Not a good quality product and pathetic customer service

Machine takes over 2hr 10min for 59 min cycle even when proper instructions followed most of the time. Called Customer Service to complain and Technician was sent to assess the machine who told me that there are cases with this Model where customer complained about this particular problem.I showed technician Videos and Pic's made during the wash showing it stuck on same time over 8 min and more and displaying wrong time making you wait for hours before you put

Read moreanother lot in and he only offered to change display but I asked for the replacement unit as it was only 2 weeks Old and I expect highest quality product from F&P which he couldn't and advised to speak to Customer Service.Called Customer Service and explained the adviser on the phone but she wasn't ready to listen and got rude over the phone and hung up.Complained through social media platform but they couldn't help either and repeated the same answer as Customer Service so now I am stuck with them and need to allow full day to do my Laundry as I don't know how long I have to wait for each wash. Please be ware of buying this F&P product else ready for terrible Service and Support. I wouldn't recommend F&P to anyone.
Shocking customer service
WashSmart WH7560P2 (7.5kg)Our machine was super loud- turns out we have a major known fault. We also bought a condenser dryer from this brand- also had a major known fault. Shocking customer service on both occasions . Bought 2 products- both had major faults. Didn’t meet any of the deadlines they promised to fix. Eventually got a refund on one product - as they couldn’t resolve. Living without a washing machine at the moment while I wait for them to get their act together. Clothes are So Clean

The first two things I noticed were the clothes come out so dry due to the high spin speed and the clothes are SO much cleaner. You pay the price with a long wash time and you cant alter the wash so easily but the results speak for themselves. There is also significant water savings. I am delighted with the washer and hope it lasts many years.

OK. Wouldn't buy again
WashSmart WH7560P2 (7.5kg)This machine looks nice, is quiet and has lots of features but the cycle times are random so putting a load on and trying to hang it out before you go out becomes impossible. Twice now the 2h 27m cycle has taken almost 4 hours to complete and in summer this means having to put it back on again when you come home as wet clothes sitting in a washer in humid conditions smell. One other small thing ... the washing powder drawer extends into the top of the machine so you can't have a dryer directly on top of it or you can't open and close the drawer properly. Dryer needs to sit a few cms back which might be a consideration. It's OK but not as good as the cheaper machine I had before.

Brilliant washing machine
WashSmart WH8060P2 (8.0kg)Washes and rinses the clothes brilliantly, even on the super quick cycles. The spin is great on it so most of the moisture is removed. It's not overly loud and the finishing chime is short and not intrusive, but sometimes you might miss it. Perfect size, you can fit a whole quilt in it.

WashSmart WH8560P2 (8.5kg)Washes clothes very good compared to my old top loader .Uses alot less water .Has a wide variety of settings to use . Pretty quite except for the faster spin option . Good for larger loads just have to be careful with the amount of detergent you put in for a small load suds up a bit . Use a washing bag for small items, Leaves a bit of suds and water in the door rubber after each cycle.

You are kidding! Drainage outlet hose far too short to reach sink without buying an extension.
WashSmart WH8560P2 (8.5kg)..thus sent back as considered, in my opinion, a design fault and based on principal was sent back; you spend a good deal of money and expect to install and away you go, but no, the drainage hose was too short to reach the sink right next to the front loader. I'm standing there scratching my head, "Like WTH.. I have to go out and buy an extension, get stuffed.." So, item was sent back and now looking at a different brand front loader that caters for a sink on either side, not just one side. Friend has one and recommended it and am confident it's a great product but... some idiot at Fisher & Paykel needs an upper cut. Anyway, thanks for reading but just a heads up!

WashSmart WH8060P2 (8.0kg)I purchased this washing machine in October 2017 after much research. I had intended to buy it a year before, but found that a lot of people were complaining of leaks. I thought I would wait until that problem had been sorted out by the manufacturer, which I am sure has been done because my machine is wonderful and so far, has no leaks. It washes and rinses really well, is extremely quiet, even when spinning and very easy to use. It has many washing cycles and you can also adjust water temperature and spin speed. ... Read morent feature, but I haven't needed to use this yet. I tend to use the Everyday cycle the most, but adjust the water temperature down to 30C instead of their 40C. It does take 58 minutes, but is shorter than some of the other cycles. The machine connects to hot and cold water. The buttons are soft touch and easy to use. It even gives me a signal when the wash is finished. It is quite gentle on the clothes and after hanging them on the line, I don't need to iron them. I did want to buy the 8.5 kg model, but Harvey Norman only stocked the 8kg model, so went with this. So far this seems to be adequate for my needs. There was a long delay in getting it because Harvey Norman put the wrong number in their order and didn't follow up when the machine didn't come. It was worth waiting for though.

Leaks intermittently

Waste hose is woefully short
WashSmart WH8560P2 (8.5kg)Needed to install under bench and waste hose 600ml short to connect to sink spigot. No appropriate extension pipe with rubber grommet both ends. Contacted company by phone and email massive indifference. If you go to Harvey Norman and compare with other brands this product stands alone for such a short hose. It’s a product fault and they just don’t want to hear. Cost me money for plumber and to finally locate a fitting. Shocking service.

Does not work with cold water only intake
WashSmart WH8560P2 (8.5kg)I am so disappointed. This machine has so many good features, size of drum, quietness, good cycle options, does a good wash...so what went wrong? The machine is supposed to work on cold water only and heat the water if you want to select a temperature, I have now had 2 machines in 2 and a half months, both with same fault which is that it won't work on cold only unless you only ever want to do cold washes. F & P have zero customer care. They do not communicate, they have a so what attitude on the phone, you get no apologies, the service guy takes forever to get to you and they offer nothing to assist. I will never buy a F & P product again.

Has a Samsung before and happy with that one but the WashSmart is easier to use and seems to be gentler on my clothes, especially delicates. Love the extra quick 15 minute cycle I can have a load done in no time and be off to the beach. Does a great job on the heavy soiled garments as well. Highly recommend this machine.

Very strong
WashSmart WH7560P2 (7.5kg)Depends on the settings it does clean cloths as its met to be except on the 15min cycle you need as less cloths as possible as it does not clean.
The rinsing is perfect except it sometimes gets stuck at 8mins and stays there for 10mins sometimes especially in the 30min cycle.
Once in a while it does not take the fabric softner.
Its very good on saving water and it keeps going as I use the washing machine everyday.
