Love It!
Went from a f&p top loader to this and am not disappointed! I get my washing done in half the time. There is a super quick wash option that lasts for 15minutes...it isnt loud. It has a great energy rating and fits my king quilt covers
Very happy with my purchase.

I luv it!
It is so quiet, has plenty of multiple washing options to choose from including hand wash and bulky items. The 15 and 30 minute quick washes are handy and is even quiet when spinning. The operation of the machine is very easy and I have had it for a couple of months now and would definitely recommend it.

I’ve converted to a front loader
I used a top loader for over 20years and was forced to convert to a front loader due to my new home having limited space in the laundry. I did a lot of research, read reviews went and looked at lots of different machines and landed on the F&P 8.5kg front loader.
Washes clothes beautiful, was very surprised. Was very efficient our water bill is much nicer now!
The smart short cycles are great when you have lots of loads to do. I love that you can add clothes mid cycle.
A couple of suggestions I would make include designing a higher machine...Read more

Fisher & Paykel WH7560P2 - does everything well, very quiet, simple controls, all good
Compared to our older (broken) front load washer, the WH7560P2 is better in every way that matters.
The controls are more straight-forward and easy to understand.
It is easier to adjust program settings.
It is a LOT quieter.
You can pause a cycle or add an item.
You can delay the start so it runs when your solar is going.
Clothes come out less wet.
Not much left to ask for!
Some reviewers said this washer requires hot and cold water connections. That's not true. You can connect cold only and the machine automatically heats the water by itself.
This was delivered fast and friendly by appliances online at a fair price, and they removed the old one.

Better than the Bosch
This is by the far the best washing machine I have used. My Bosch machine died after 3 years and decided to try Fisher & Paykel and I couldn't be happier.
You can't hear it running due to the direct drive which is really good.
The Wash cycles are really good and has every cycle you could think of.
Would recommend.

Terrible machine - appalling customer service
Terrible wash. School shirts and business shirts extremely crushed. No matter what spin cycle or function you use. Washes worse than a LG machine I had for 12 years. I am now having to replace clothes that are only 7 months old. Customer service is absolutely appalling. Spoken to 6 different officers and all kept saying the same things of never receiving service reports. I will never purchase a fisher and Paykel appliance ever again. Frustrated and disappointed customer.

Good.
I find it good to use with a range of settings and various cycles and options. Once I got used to it I realised which were the best settings for me as I ilike the shorter wash times and find they are sufficient to get our clothes good and clean.

Wow!
This is a great washer. Great functions. We have a large family and a lot of laundry. Some of the aspects of this washer that I have been impressed with are its ability to get a lot of laundry done quickly if you have a dryer that will keep up. Its large capacity allows for much bigger loads and the normal wash cycle can usually have it done under 60 minutes. These options can take a long time but this washer is very good at getting washables clean.

excellent washing machine
Cleans clothes very well and they don't come out all tangled together. The functions are easy to use and you can even pause it if you forget a piece of clothing which is always useful. Really happy with this washing machine, nice settings and control display. It is really quiet when washing and rinsing more than expected.

Great machine
Love the drum wash option to keep the machine clean and fresh after washing my partners work gear (carpenter).
Great that it gives you the time remaining so you can plan your morning and the super quick wash is excellent when you’re in a hurry.
Best machine I’ve ever owned. Very happy customer!

Washing Machine
I love this frontloader its easy to use has heaps of wash cycles and that is great when you rely on tank water. I love the add item function. Also the drum cleaning function. I previously had another brand frontloader and this one washes much better than the older one.I love that you can do a supwr fast wash in 22mins

WH7560P2- Many options to choose from washing machine
After much research I decided to go with the F&P WH7560P.
Purchased it today: 4/10/18.
So mainly used the two short cycle washes so far: 15 and 30 minutes.
It does say for the quick cycle (30 mins) to limit the load to 4 kgs, and the super quick ( 15 mins) to 2 kgs load!
I found the washing time was true.
Will do some longer washes and update this review.
I did pay to get the machine professionally installed too, I thought the benefit of that, if it was DOA ( he did a small test, to check for leaks and to make sure it actually started!...Read more

Great!
Great times, short cycle is helpful! The longer cycles are still not too long. I usually do 3 loads or so a week so not a large user but very satisfied with the quality of the Wash. it is quiet and spin cycle dries well. Good that wou can select temp and speed

Great machine
Its got a pretty good design thats very user friendly.
Handles day to day clothes and very soiled workwear pretty well and it runs as quiet as a mouse compared to my old machine.
It doesn’t rattle and shake when on spin which is nice.
Solid little machine to get the job done

Awesome machine
Awesome machine that's quiet and cleans clothes very well. Love the handwash option along with the ability to add additional rinses to a cycle. I like the options available, makes it easy to make sure each load is handled exactly how it needs to be. It doesn't take long and clothes wash perfect . Has great energy and water saving efficiency. Would definitely recommend this washer .
It's lock system is not that good can be unlocked so easily, not a machine in little kids houses.

Faulty design - poor electronics
When it works this washing machine washes great. I'm now on my third service call and it's all the electronics which are failing. Please don't bother with F&P service as they aren't worried about helping you. Should have stuck with my ugly old Euromaid 8kg washing machine which didn't miss a beat.

This is perfect can't live without it
I use this machine daily for all kinds of clothing particularly delicates which the machine has a special cycle. A 15 min cycle is very useful for small loads or not so dirty washing. A heavy cycle is useful for washing doonas or pillows.can be programmed with timer delay to use off peak water and electricity

More Pros than Cons
I bought the 8kg washer instead of 7kg size because I prefer hot & cold connections to an inbuilt heater. The panel is very user friendly with many options...love the ability to add items during the cycle & washing is clean with minimal wrinkles for all textiles...overall I really like the machine except for the filling which stops and starts which is annoying.

Impressive
I've been using a top loader ever since and had to replace my last one. I heard that front loader does better compared to top loaders in terms of efficiency, cost and wash quality. Headed to Good Guys to get this one and I was impressed by the simplicity of this unit. The controls are basically the same as my old Fisher P. top loader although display was more digitalised and easy to understand. I can also modify some of the setting for my washing preferences except for the washing timer. The unit is quiet, looks tough and with good quality in over all aspect.

Great machine
We purchased this machine a month ago Fromm Harvey Norman and are glad we did. We use the every day cycle with mix loads (59 minutes) and clothes come out perfect every time. Quiet on the spin cycle and quiet alert when the load has finished. The quick cycle is also effective just don’t overload.

Questions & Answers
Ghoopasked
Our washer (WH8560P) failed to start the spin cycle and just sits there rocking back and forth endlessly. Tried reset but to no avail. Had a heavy sweater on board and am wondering if the machine was unable to balance the load before starting the spin. When I took the load out cycle completed OK.

Yup sounds like out of balance happened to me when I washed a heavy doona it couldn't balance it out
I'd ring Fisher & Paykel & tell them what happened. They should be very understanding & give you an answer over the phone. (my washer is a 7.5 kg load so presume if I go over something won't happen).

We just moved house and our new front load washing machine spills water when it is paused and the door is opened to add a extra item. It was work before the move, and seem to work ok when the cycle is allowed to complete without opening the door

hi my washer isnt really turning on it just clicks n flashes but doesnt turn on does anyone know how to fix this or is it broken
1 answer
Once the power is turned on and the settings selected you press “start” . The machine automatically starts, water first. Hope this helps.
