Ute very uncomfortable to drive, feel like I have a slipt disc in my back. I'm an average 164cm height weight bout 60kgs. So without long legs and struggling with the very compact utility can't adjust the steering wheel enough. If you are very tall good luck! Steering wheel is very harsh on the hands, ute sits very high. Even grabbing the seat belt could be moved further forward.

2.2 diesel 6 speed - be prepared for endless gear changing
For work I drive a Ford Ranger diesel 2.2 six speed manual. The cabin is fine, although it misses out on things like an outside temperature display and finding a few features like the rear window demist is a challenge! The good, it seems quite lightweight, and the economy is great, probably excellent! I average 7.5/100km for a busy commute across Newcastle. It also has a good size tank, so the range is really good. If economy is your goal then this is your ute.
The not so good; when the tray is empty, it's very light in the rear, meani...Read more
ng slides and wheelspin in the wet are a common feature. What makes this worse is you have to really rev it through the lower gears to get going, leading to more wheel-spin. It's low geared! Taking off in first from the lights, you either rev it to the moon or have cyclists pass you. In the traffic light derby, this ute will see you hold up impatient courier drivers. And the gear change is a bit slow as well. On the open road it's fine. In town, no thanks. And any slight rise sees it labouring, begging you for a lower gear. I lay awake at night dreaming about the 3.2 litre version.. or an Izuzu D Max,.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Plain average
This car is just plain average. Nothing special that other Utes don't have. The noise is a bit too loud for my husband and the running costs are far too expensive. As a car it drives just like a ute is expected to, the occasional bump and the loud noises. Overall this ute is just an average builders car!
