Mate, nfi is my answer, but I do know the one on mine was an all day affair to fit, and the dealership let me no too.

It’s basically a KUN26 Hilux rebadged as a foton. Not sure about bull bars, but all the suspension components on my rig were from a Hilux. And I’m lead to believe that prado brakes are a clean conversion

They can be tricky things to get the hang of. I am on my 2nd Tunland a 2014 and now a 2018 and the cruise control operation is the same for both. A friend of mine thought his was faulty but once he understood the combination away it went.First thing to do is turn it on, then set it and activate. All controls are on the s/wheel. some buttons have more than 1 function which tends to create the confusion. It will shut down with the clutch, break or repressing the set button but remain on, waiting to be reset. Your truck will have operating instructions in the manual or you can consult one on line. If its still not operational you have a problem, which is not unheard of particularly when accessories have been fitted but could be any number of things, best consult an expert, should be an easy fix.hope that all proves useful. cheers. ps it only operates at 70km+.

Hit the bottom switch on steering wheel first then top on switch then set worked for me

Ours was working fine till November last year.

I had an issue with my first [2014] Tunland's clutch, it turned out to be a leaking clutch pressure cylinder which was replaced under warranty.The only advice I could give is, knowing a missed scheduled service will always void a warranty on any new vehicle, I have always made sure to get my vehicles serviced at the appropriate time.

You will need to take your vehicle to someone who has the right software. Most auto electricians should be able to reset it. Either that or just ignore it.

I had mine serviced December 7 2022 and they have forgotten to reset the service reminder. Annoying! Next service I hope

Well if the tailshaft failed while the ute was still under warranty it should have been covered... unless the failure has been accessed as due to driver negligence. As with all vehicles, a warranty becomes void as soon as one uses a third party part. Any official Foton dealer should be able to access parts without too much trouble, if you are having trouble locally ring the importer.

What ever you do make sure you use the specified oil and make sure you check the oil in the differential, if its black change it.

In short no. However there is a centre consul display that lights up showing how the control nobs are set. The aircon switch should glow green when turned on.

Yes,your right this does happen.This is what I do and it seems to work OK
Turn the key,wait till all the appropriate dash lights go off then start the engine.
On my Foton there is a lingering dash light that takes a little longer to go off about 4 seconds after the others have gone off.
Once all the lights are out car starts normally every time

Hi, yes mine the same just wait until All the dash warnings dissapear and start as normal.

On the Tunland I did not want a bullbar this time.I was told that if I did I would have to upgrade the suspension on the front to cope with the weight of the bullbar.
I would have thought as a 4X4 the suspension would be heavy duty anyway. Not sure if this is your issue but I did not pursue it after that.

Yes I did that upgrade,I guess that's why they were reasonably priced. I'm still having issues, the steering wheel, when doing hard lock turning, mysteriously moves off centre either way. The last person that looked at it couldn't understand it and couldn't correct it and then had some wise crack about women and cars are the two biggest mysteries, at that I wondered why he was in the auto business !!! I am a woman !

An SD card was never mentioned as part of my deal,we also purchased last December

I have a 16' pop top and have not experienced this at all, when they put my tow bar on they cross wired a couple of connections and I went to a Auto Electrician and he fixed it up for me, so all good now.

My advice would be maybe my issue above and go to your friendly auto electrician.
I strongly believe the Dealer mechanics have no real idea at all so I would not waste your time going there.
In all the new cars I have bought I NEVER go back to the Dealer,as long as you go to licenced folks your warentee will be all good.
Every car new or used will have nigly little problems now and then.

Depends on the year model,first one2012-2016 2.5 t, update model available with automatic was increased to 3t towing,dual cab,you have to allow for your load in the tub,fuel,people

I would first talk with ACCC in relation to rhe Australian Consumer Law. Then approach the dealer.

I had a saying b4 the Running n it blew the shirt end motor b4 I had even done 2600k.s. took it back... Was fixed but told them if it's good enough for me then it's it's good enough for you to replace and use as a demo... Dealer wouldn't do but u tracked down head guy in Korea and after a lot more f to and firing vehicle was replaced... 2nd most expensive thing we buy after a house and neither have a no fault guarantee.. It sux... Give it a go the.. Keep records.. Time date.. Conversations etc... Go to head of Foton... Do same keep records... Good luck..

Check aircon fuse

Ok so you can not hear the fan working at all. If you can hear the fan but not blowing air. it could be the Pipping that the air flows through has come apart. If not. You need to take it to your nearest foton dealer to replace motor on fan. Good luck

Ours turned out to be plate ???? (No idea ..but that's what they told me...) that was knocked when they replaced gear box......if desperate ring Thomas brothers in wagga tell them to check VIC reg. Foton 1ab 9gv who had s similar problems n how did they fix it...ask for Erin... hope this helps...ours story popped on windscreen blowing air.....
