After checking out a lot of local gyms I found Freeway Sports to be the best. I have been going for a few years now and they have made a lot of improvements. There is plenty of good equipment, good facilities, plenty of different classes and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Great value for money too. Highly recommend.

Been training at freeway sports Doveton for over 10 years. Has a huge variety of equipment, fantastic fun classes and helpful and caring staff.
Look forward to training there and have made so many friends at the centre.
Trained in many gyms all over Australia, this one is the best iv found.

Gym can really be a place you can feel self conscious but I feel so comfortable here. I love the ladies only club- it's huge, bigger than fernwood. Love the x-fit class, TRX, hot yoga, private spa bed & the kids club makes it hard to get an excuse, I don't need help with that lol. The free aseasement & program with my trainers makes sure I get the results I need. I wish I found this club years ago. Big & happy. Thankyou for having old school morals & new bright club. Thanks for my body & confidence. Also I have had no probs with staff when I needed to suspend my m'ship or needed extra help, just attentive.

This is a great gym in SE Melbourne the staff are great and helpful also with all the new equipment so easy to do your workout without the fuss of waiting for equipment . Come and try and you will be happy you did great swimming pool and modern facility's .

Been going for a few years now, never had any issues. Just added heaps of new equipment and is now 24/7 which is even better to achieve maximum gainz. Nice and friendly staff as well who never get angry at me when i accidentally forget my pass (all the time). So if you wanna get absolutely shredded for summer i will recommend this gym till my very last rep.

I've been at freeway sports for around 10 years.  The staff have always been friendly and helpful. The people that train there are also  very friendly as well. The new extension is fantastic now and the 24/7 access is fantastic also

Great facilities. Caters for everyones fitness experience .seperate womens & mens gyms. Pool, crossfit,boxing. Free breakfast & more. Also good staff & classes

Greatest gym in the south east!!! It has the best equipment and the greatest staff members. And now open 24/7. All the reasons why i choose Freeway gym.

I have been a member at freeway sports gym for almost two years. A lot has changed since I started.. Lots of new and amazing equipments, with a massive new room added. New bikes, new treadmills, new new new.. Loving the 24/7!! I can go train any day, anytime, any minute that my body feels like it.. Loving it!!!

I have only been at the gym for a month so far, however the staff are all wonderful, Incredibly helpful and encouraging. the equipment is all well maintained and clean. I have been doing PT and the trainer i have is fantastic. she pushes me just enough and has so much positive reinforcement! I will keep going until i move states. I also love Pilates and abs classes they are great fun!

OK when you are a paying customer, but try to leave then the trouble starts. I had to tell them forcible when I could come in to cancel membership, because I had to be forcible in telling them what I wanted, I was told I was arrogant, they could not hear me to much static yet I could hear them clearly, funny man. I have gained a valuable experience from this, that is to look up on any reviews I can find before I commit to anything like this again. I hope my review helps someone not make the mistake I made like joining this club.

Overcrowded hardly any free weights for the amount of members! hardly any benches or dumbbells. guy that tricked me into signing a membership was a smart arse! ordinary opening hours,

I love this place. I look fwd to going there daily as the staff are friendly,helpful and encouraging. Huge variety of equipment,great classes,pool and a ladies gym too! What more could I ask for?

Equipment never gets fixed, shower doors nearly all closures missing or worn out and rotted at the bottom,try to cancel takes months and they still direct debit you need meeting to cancel which takes months to do because only once a week person authorised to cancel membership but any one can sign you up?! All of spa area has not worked for at least the 12months I was there. Sign you up quick but thats about it girls only area may be better now looking for better gym in the area. This one is old unclean and due for repairs still after 12 months.
