Broken after 2 years
Vivoactive 3 ClassicThe display slowly deteriorate, making it hard to read until it just stop showing useful information, like the time. Out of warranty period, the best thing offered by Garmin support is a 'discounted' refurbished same type of watch. I'll go with Samsung watch for my android.

Vivoactive 3 ClassicI've had my watch for a couple of years. Battery life has always been terrible. I have to charge it every day so I cannot wear it to track sleep overnight. More recently the screen has started to play up. I'm very brand loyal but and all of my training history has been in Garmin but I'd have to give serious thought before buying Garmin again.
Show detailsGreat watch - terrible battery life!
Vivoactive 3 ClassicI have owned this watch for 3 years and have loved it. But overnight the battery went from lasting 5 days to not even a day! I went to bed last night at 53% charge, and it ran out of battery over night!! This appears to be a very common issue with these watches. Don't waste your money.

Vivoactive 3 ClassicThe watch i have is only 18month old and the battery lasts no more than a day. It was working fine but literally overnight the battery went from 5 days to not even 1.

Save your money!
Vivoactive 3 ClassicDO NOT BUY THIS JUNK WATCH! I'm part of a health and well-being program and for that I need a smartwatch to record my HR etc. I've lost track of the number of times I've been doing an upper body workout, sweating like a bushy and barely able to breath, only to look at my watch to see it showing a HR of around 80! This isn't a once-off, it's every single time.
Want a watch that will last a while on a single charge? Don't buy this one. I fully charged my watch last night, put it on my wrist at around 10pm and just now (8am the next day) I n

I have used the watch for swimming in the past, and it does a good job of counting laps (just rememebr to set your pool length before using), it counts steps well and I like the GPS function when I go for walks. I do also like the ability to change the watch face via the Connect IQ app, but these positives are not sufficient to outweigh the negatives. Ultimately, the watch is dissapointing. I'm not sure what other smart watches are like, but if you're in the market for a smart watch I'd give this one a wide berth!Very inaccurate heart rate and gps tracking
Vivoactive 3 ClassicI have been using it for over two years now. Battery life is good, lasts around 5 days after two years, but I am really unhappy with its gps and heart rate measurements. GPS is often wrong by up to 10% compared with other fitness trackers (doesn’t matter if I use Galileo or Glonass). Heart rate during cardio workouts is terrible as well. It shows 110 when I measure it myself at 150. Choose something else if you ask me..

Great features but rubbish battery life.
Vivoactive 3 ClassicI loved my Vivoactive at first. Still do. Though its sleep tracking is nowhere near as good as Fitbits. The battery is meant to last 7 days and it did at first but 6 months later I'm down to only 2 days which is annoying. Garmin offered to send me a refurbished one which I wouldn't agree to. They said to go to place of purchase and they'd organise a swap. But these have been discontinued and I can't get a replacement for the same price. The new model is $300 more than this one. Not impressed.
Show detailsJust bought Vivoactive 3 - white with rose gold
Vivoactive 3 ClassicI've only had my Vivoactive 3 for 3 weeks, though I'm wishing I bought it earlier.
Being my first smart watch, it's hard to compare, though I'm enjoying the look of it, functionality (particularly the sleep tracking) and all for a great price on sale.
The only issue I've had is that it disconnects from my Garmin App about once every day or two, which I need to shut down and restart both phone and watch to get them re-connected. I charge every 4-5 days, once it gets below 20% - as I'd hate for it to go flat during the day.
Altogether a great watch and it can be worn from the beach to work without a worry.
Show detailsDoes the job, great battery life
Vivoactive 3 ClassicI was given this as a gift. Although this watch isn't all bells and whistles like a Samsung or Apple watch, this is an active watch and is built like one. I have had a Samsung watch but I went back to the Garmin. I got the one with a white band and rose gold face. Its simple classy and looks great and the watch is really light on the wrist. I had a Samsung watch and the Garmin is so much lighter I prefer it.
The Good: Great for tracking activities. GPS is pretty ok, fairly accurate. Battery life is awesome. I can do about 3-4 days with my watch

BAD battery life
Vivoactive 3 ClassicI purchased vivoactive 3 last year. Battery life has been fine until Garmin app went down for maintenance for over a week. Since then I have to charge my battery twice a day. It is not reading my sleep patterns either they have been really wired since battery trouble. I like the watch but it is really frustrating me charging it so frequently. I have tried all the trouble shooting suggestions but to no avail.
Show detailsPoor customer support, ripped off for parts
Vivoactive 3 ClassicThe watch band keeper broke after 14 months - $5 to replace - fair enough - $10 postage and no pick up option! Prefer genuine parts but no wonder people end up buying copies.
Show detailsvery good watch!

Very good, but batery life is no good
Vivoactive 3 ClassicI have using my vivoactive3 since 2017 and it never presents problems. Very good watch. But on February 2020 the battery life became very short, and i need to charge it twice a day. I told with support three times but the problem does not solved. Support suggested me send the watch to PROPARTS so change the watch, but i have no guarantee that this will be free of financial costs. Does anybody have a same problem?
Show detailsGood for general use, but issues once you scratch the surface
Vivoactive 3 ClassicThis does most of the simple stuff well, the screen is and easy to use and navigate. My issues:
1. The screen is very sensitive. My widgets reorder/ delete in most showers!
2. The GPS is hopeless in very built up areas. eg. I work in the city and it takes about 1km of running (away from the buildings), before it can find me.
3. Updates during the day can clear all that day's data. I had a massive 35k step day once and it updated and deleted it all at dinner time, giving me 500 steps for the day!
4. The HR is usually pretty accurate, except whe
A watch, a fitness tracker, plus more!
Vivoactive 3 ClassicHaven't worn a watch in 10 years, but was after a GPS fitness tracker. Looks like a watch, week long battery (if lazy), and basic smarts & notifications, including tap-&-pay. No issue with build quality, I work with chainsaws and other machinery and was concerned of damage, nearly a year on not a scratch! Despite it's water resistant rating, I don't shower with it on, it's usually dusty and dirty under the band after work, plus it allows me to charge it.
