Garmin Vivoactive 3
The Garmin Vivoactive 3 was the replacement model offered by Rebel Sport, because my $400 Garmin Vivoactive leaked and didn't work. The GPS is inaccurate and Garmin are poor manufacturers.

Garmin 735XT and fenix 5s plus
First experience with 735XT was positive for a warch bought in 2016.However during one of my swim few weeks ago (2 years and 6 months) it went full of water and game over. So I decided to upgrade to fenix 5s plus 800$ worth of watch. I can't be more disappointed and see that after 3 years basically the technology went backwards, the battery drain out after 4 days only, the garmin pay requires randomly Pin at transactions which is really frustrating for you and people waiting for you to play with the PIN. HR sensor still grossly imprecise. Maps hard to use as it extremely small. I would not repeat.

Garmin 520
Garmin 520 would not charge and can not be seen by the computer when plugged in. When I informed Garmin they said that the USB port was damaged. They then proceeded to tell me it was NOT covered by warranty! this implied it was my fault and that I damaged it. I have many products that require charging with cords and I have had none that I have had trouble with. Really, how hard is it to plug a USB or another charging cord into a device. Really GARMIN, you blame your consumers for your poor quality control. Worse customer service I have ever experienced.

Zero Customer Service & Faulty Product
I purchased a brand new Garmin Instinct 2 weeks ago. Took it for 2 runs and a bike ride and the watch is not tracking my kilometres at all.
Tried calling a few times (hold time was up to 1 and half hours), wrote emails (no response), contacted via social media (no response).
Finally got through today only to be told I need to download additional software and/or factory reset the watch to fix any 'bugs'. Why would a brand new watch have 'bug'?
Have asked for a refund, no response.
So I now have a $400 watch that does not work.

Reaction to band - no customer service
The Vivoactive 3 Music I purchased in January 2022 has caused irritation on my wrist which is getting worse. I basically don't wear the watch anymore because the irritation just gets worse. All the research I have done on this common problem says to let Garmin know. Well, Garmin Australia could not care less. I was actually calling to see if they could recommend a replacement band that is not silicon as it is an expensive watch. I waited on hold to talk to Garmin Australia for 15+ minutes. The 'customer "service"' agent was less than helpful. ...Read more
Mustafa, the Garmin agent, kept telling me to see a doctor for the irritation. Absolutely, I say, but I also need to resolve the watch so can you make any recommendations about what actions I can take so I can wear the watch without irritation? From my research, this is a common problem, what have other Garmin users done to resolve this. "Go and see a doctor". I'm not sure how seeing a doctor can resolve the band issue but this service agent was rude, and clearly shouldn't be talking to customers. This is not my first Garmin, but it will be my last. Sorry Garmin, but you need to employ people who care about your products, your service and your reputation. I'm out. Out of your fitness watches, and out of your GPS equipment.Similar opinion? Product support = Hopeless
Trying to buy a new band for my Garmin. Find the band on the USA Garmin site, but they only ship to the USA. It sends me to the Australian site which then sends you back to the USA site. I ring the Australian 1800 number and it tells me to leave my number and they will call back. They call back three times, each time with a recorded voice saying "we are currently experiencing technical difficulties" and hanging up. I then go to their website for help, the 'Chat' facility says "Sorry, we're unable to help you with your device at this time..." so...Read more
I click on the Email option, I complete all the required info and try to click the so-called 'reCAPTCHA' box to prove I'm not a robot at the bottom and you guessed it!!! It doesn't work either. To review their service, the phone doesn't work, the Chat doesn't work and email doesn't work....all this from a technology company. Joke.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

No support provided for design fault
I bought a Garmin Forerunner 30 while on an overseas trip.
Three months later, i returned home to Australia and the band fell off.
There didn't appear to be a way to reconnect it, and it looked like the holes were too big for the screws.
I chatted with Garmin online, and they were ready to send out a replacement kit as per warranty guidelines. But then when the agent heard my Australian address, he said to call Garmin Australia Support Team.
So i did. I was put on hold for an hour. Then I emailed them. After not hearing back, I sent a Facebook message. Then I was told to call the support team.

Good but too hard to read in daylight
Even on max light setting I cannot read the screen. Really dim. New phone and cannot connect to Bluetooth. Have wasted lots of time and still not connected.
Stairs counter inaccurate.
The rest is good.

Extremely poor after sales service
I purchased an in-car gps sat nav. It came with free annual updates if I registered online - which I did. The first update did not work and when I contacted customer service they were really unhelpful and refused to honour the agreement given to me. I would not trust them again.

I am still getting billed 5 years after cancelling account.
I have tried again to cancel a subscription I cannot remember starting. Garmin Australia does not have contact us form on there website or phone number. I have just spent 45 minutes trying to cancel this account that I do not use.

Vivofit 4 terrible product backup
The Garmin Vivofit 4 I purchased in July has not been working properly for several weeks. Garmin seemed to be doing a lot of software updates so I thought that was the problem. Eventually I rang company. First time I spoke to someone they were helpful but it turned out they did not fix problem. Second time I contacted Garmin very different. After going through all the problems I had with the device (dropping thousands of steps, not recording sleep, dropping intensity minutes) I was asked by call centre "why do you think it is broken". It seeme...Read more
d fairly obvious to me. I need the device for health reasons. Garmin want me to send it back to them, they will check and then send replacement. It is Christmas time and I live in WA. It will be weeks before I receive replacement. Told them I was not happy with the arrangement but they don't care. Will never buy Garmin again.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

works for 4.5 years
Garmin will allow me to purchase a new gps at a slight discount but I think I am better off just using Google Maps or WAZE. Garmin told me I should contact Microsoft when its map update would not install. Message was that previous map could not be uninstalled. Cheaper just to use data on phone.

I would give no star if I can
I bought my son a BB8 Garmin junior for Christmas in 2017. Within months, the band snapped. Because I didn’t keep the receipt I was not able get a replacement. So I paid $50 +$9.9 shipping for a new band. Mind you, that Garmin was only $129 brand new.
A few months later, my so outgrew the BB8 band, understanding this is not Garmin’s fault, I bought the next size up on the strechy band. $30 + $9.9 shipping
When it arrived, it was way bigger than the BB8 band... my son couldn’t use it
I rang Garmin customer services
I was offered a ...Read more

Poorest Customer Service I've Ever Experienced
Never in my life have a come across a company with the sloppiest product knowledge & slowest customer service I have ever had to deal with. After listening to the automated menu, I had to wait for ages on the phone whilst having no choice but to listen to their boring & very repetitive on-hold music until someone answered me. Eventually I gave up after 2 unanswered phone calls to them, leaving me no other option but to send an email instead. How Garmin can stay in business & how anyone can give them 5 stars for brilliant service is beyond me. T...Read more

Update:
Garmin customer service still haven't replied to my email that I sent about a week ago. It's pointless ringing them because I'll be kept on-hold forever. It's so unbelievable that a company would treat their customers like this!
