Can it also be juice mixer?

1 answer

I thought that's what it was for but apparently you have to use "soft" ingredients such as bananas, ice cream, yoghurt, berries and anything similar. I tried to make a healthy juice with choppped celery, apple, cucumber, carrot and my machine started smoking and blade didnt seem strong enough to to cut through ingredients. It's best to invest your money in a more expensive juicer if your serious about your juice like I am :)

I recently bought the mix & go for my partner's brother for his bday. Looks like he made a drink and doesn't know how to get the blade out of the blender base? Can anyone help? We have tried everything but can't seem to get it out.

You simply twist the bottle with blade attachment in an anti clockwise direction and lift it out, unscrew the lid and screw on the drinking lid

Only had my 'mix and go' for a week and somehow the blade assembly has stuck to the blender base. It was the second time I used it and all I've blended is banana's, protein powder and milk. The motor still works fine but would appreciate a suggestion to get it off?

Not sure which rubber thing you are talking about....but you can buy spare bottles from The Good Guys or Target was selling them before Xmas.
An entire new unit only cost me $30 from the good guys and that included one bottle.

I make fruit smoothies with it and it blends frozen kiwi fruit, banana, strawberries, frozen mixed berries, grated apple and milk all no worries. haven't tried kale or spinach. But i have put ice cubes in there and it blends them ok - not perfect but ok.

Yes most definately ☺️ as long as there some form of liquid in the mix. It crushes ice effortlessly

It's pretty easy! You can put the whole thing in a dishwasher or just run it under water and rub it with a cloth (be careful)

yep put it under water. just make sure the bottom part that gets connected to the machine doesn't get soaked. you can also just leave it to dry on its own after.

i just rinse it after each use and let it air dry

Hi can you use the mix & go to grind flaxseeds or coffee? thanks!

I've only tried adding chia seeds to my drinks so far. The instructions said it's not meant for hard foods and is more of a blender mixer rather than grinder. so I'd say best stick to the smaller seeds if you're thinking of making something more nutritious.

One of the other reviewers has used it to grind flaxseeds with excellent results (yellowgerbie). I haven't tried it myself as I have a good little coffee grinder, but as part of a smoothie I've had no trouble blending seeds and nuts.

Try this one, add some juice of your choice to just under half way, add half of a sliced banana, some strawberries and raspberries (frozen are ok, I put in about 5 of each), a teaspoon of honey, some ice to the fill line and then blend..its very yummy

Hi jay wondering if you have tried using ice in the blender yet? Am worried due to the cost if it will be ok with ice? I know it says it will but I am worried? Any advice would be great as I have a smoothie every morning with berries, banana, oats, ice and yoghurt! :)

I use ice in normal size chunks and have had no problem, just make sure you put the ice in last, read my review. It's perfect and well worth the price, I was looking at a more expensive model and saw this one so much cheaper and I'm glad I purchased this one.
