FAULTY TYRES
After having my car serviced last week my mechanic GREG Robinson from B & T AUTOS NAMBOUR found one front tyre was as he said falling apart and not safe on the car. I called Hancook in Sydney and they gave me the number of the Rep on the Sunshine Coast whom i called and told him the problem. He said he would call my mechanic and 1week later no phone call.as i am driving to Melbourne on the 16th dec.i have had to put a new set of tyres on my car and they weren't Hancook tyres. I think the Hancook service is very poor and would not recommend anyone to use their tyres.

Horrible in wet weather
These seem to perform well enough in dry conditions, tend to make a bit of a screech when doing full lock U-turns. The real worry with these tyres in my application ( RWD Turbo Volvo wagon) is horrible traction in the rain. A few days ago I nearly wrote the car off spinning out of a corner. Was not speeding or anything, and have taken the same corner many times before in the wet with my previous Michelin tyres. If you own an older RWD car, that isn't equipped with ABS, do not buy these tyres. I'm currently looking for better tyres now and feel obligated to leave this review.

Very Good Value For My Money
Car needed 4 new tyres, got the Korean brand, Hankook, Kinergy EX H308. Good all weather tyre with good grip in the wet and navigating roundabouts. Lower rolling resistance so great for fuel consumption on the highway. I got more than 50km more per tank of petrol, considering the age of my car. Less road noise too. Cost me $79 each fitted. Should last me tens of thousands of kilometres. Very good value for my money.
Purchased in August 2021 at JAX Tyres for $79.00.

Quiet, durable, trouble free
I bought these tyres from JAX tyres in Moorabbin as the old ones were ageing, hard, and without much grip in the wet. I didn't want to spend too much, and it was a toss-up between these Hankook tyres and some Kumho tyres for memory. I decided on these after reading reviews elsewhere.
From the first moment I drove with them, they were smooth, very quiet, and made the ride much more enjoyable. Of course it helps that these tyres are a taller profile than the previous ones.

aid, these tyres are designed for economy and reduced sound, so I don't expect more grip in the wet. In the dry, I've never had them lose traction, not that I ever drive in a way which would. I've now done 10,000 km on them. They're still quiet and comfortable. I can't notice any real signs of wear at this stage, so am hopeful that I can get 30 - 40,000 km out of them. Will buy again.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great tyres for a quiet ride
Bought these tyres from tyresales and the whole process was stress free. Got them delivered to Caulfield fitment centre and they installed the new tyres for me. The tyres are actually really quiet on the road, even on higher speeds and provide good fuel economy overall. Haven't had a chance to test in wet conditions but overall happy with the quality

Decent but not great on wet roads
I bought these tyres to replace the original tyres I had from when the vehicle was purchased which were Yokohama’s. In general driving, I haven’t noticed too much of a difference. They generally have good grip on the road. However, where I have noticed a significant difference is in wet conditions. They do not have good grip in wet conditions and I experienced considerable slippage with them even though the tyres were new. The reason I didn’t re purchase Yokohama’s was because the tyre dealer didn’t recommend them as highly and they were about $60 more per tyre than these tyres, however, it seems they may be a better tyre. For normal driving conditions though, these Hankook tyres are decent.
