Less than a year ago we bought a heller upright freezer. Nice layout drawers to keep things organized and separated from contamination. We make beauty products so it was great for many ingredients we stored. First thermostat went out. Next the frost free timer in the back that regulates compressor on and off and sets defroster on to keep it from freezing up. We lost over $500 in product both times and we can't find a timer to replace it. Don't go near one of these pieces of junk.

I bought a Heller pigeon pair fridge and freezer. The fridge had to be replaced just outside the warranty period and the freezer lasted till the warranty on the compressor was out, then it had to be replaced too. All together a very bad experience I'd never buy another Heller product.

I have found the Heller freezer very cheap and they don't last long just a bit longer than the warranty is how long our freezer lasted. I found the design good but that doesn't matter if it doesn't work. I wouldn't recommend it as I would have expected a fair bit longer operating time.
