I’ve seen some reviews online that scared me, however my experience with higgins and their local team painting our strata have been nothing but positive. While there are always concerns in larger residential buildings, the team have managed to win over tenants and owners alike, and the work truly speaks for itself. This is the third time we have had paint work to this extent performed on our building, and this has been the most satisfying and thorough job by far. I will not hesitate to recommend this group to all I know.

We have been using Higgins Coatings at the SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre for 6 years and they are our first choice every time. The price is always competitive, the guys on the ground can be relied on to undertake the work unsupervised (quite often the work is completed over night due to our extended operational hours) and the end product is always exactly as required. Almir, Steve and Brenton are always following up to ensure the work has been completed to our satisfaction, if there are any issues they are resolved as soon as possible with a minimum of fuss. I would and do recommend Higgins Coatings to anyone who wants a professional team who always do an outstanding job.

We were so pleased with Higgins Coating and the exceptional job they delivered on both the flooring and walls. Brendan was quick to come out and gave us a very competitive quote. The painting crew were very friendly and answered all of our questions. The products they sourced were of the highest quality, and the turn around time for job completion was great. Shoddy workmanship all over our complex. The work described in quote was non existent.

Virtually no preparation, painted over flaking paint rust and dust, minor repairs as quoted for not carried out, replaced rotting gutter with a patch of different profile guttering. Job not completed to extent of works quoted for. Rust patches not dealt with. Company representative became very insulting when confronted with the issues, virtually refusing to fix the problems. An inadequate discount of $350 for work not having to be carried out eg. replacing 20 mt. of fascia [and paint], and paint 4 external doors. I was told that interest will be charge if the balance owing was not paid in 12 hours. I would avoid Higgins no matter how cheap the quote or how good the promises may seam. My terrible review rating is similar to others be warned.

We needed a company with the resources to finish sections of the building exterior in a short time frame and also demonstrate that they could comply with our workplace health and safety requirements. On recommendation from an existing customer we selected Higgins. The professionalism of the team on site and support of their management has enabled us to carry out this project with minimal impact to our operations. We're very satisfied with the quality and end result.

Do not use them. They were engaged by the body corporate to perform maintenance and painting to a unit complex. They painted straight over rusted metal with no preparation. They painted external surfaces after it had just been raining whilst surfaces were wet. They did not use drop sheets and painting is extremely messy.

Higgins coatings was employed to paint a block of apartments of which one we own. Very poor patchy finish. They did not prepare surfaces that needed it but just painted over the top.
I cannot recommend them. I do not recommend them. Choose an alternative painting company as they will cost more in long run.
