Series 4 55N4 (55")Had 55na model for 5 years now,a year ago got a black screen and wont start and somehow it resolved itself after multiple attempts. That time i had no voice and now i can hear voice and dar blue or almost black screen shows which brightens on touch at few spots but does not budge. Does not start at all. Didnt expect it to give up this soon

Series 4 55N4 (55")My Hisense 55N4 lost its picture after just being 4 years old and out of Warranty. (of course)
Before the picture died, all the LED's had turned blue and put a horrid bluish cast over the TV picture.
The TV only has sound now.
This is apparently a big issue with Hisense TV's, the picture goes black all of a sudden.
Apparently it is the "T-Con" card inside the TV that fails.
The TV was always very slow to respond to commands too. Poor quality.
I would never ever buy any Hisense product again. A TV should last 10 years, not 4.
I have contacted Hisense but they have not replied.
I would give Hisense zero stars if possible.
No BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY 55N4 HISENSE
Series 4 55N4 (55")Purchased this smart tv only to find out it has no BLUETOOTH. Why make a tv with no Bluetooth! Lags when using wifi and forgets channels.
Need blie tooth for sound bars etc.
Worst experience with a Smart TV
Series 4 55N4 (55")I don't think the word "Smart" belongs to this TV. It is absolutely basic in terms of trying to get apps for todays streaming apps, and trying to get any form of screen mirroring software to work - forget it.
Looks like I will have to buy a Google Chrome device to get the functionality I fully expected.
I now have TCL TV products and they at least have all the apps available but even they could learn in terms of customer loyalty and get their Android TV updates rolling out. The whole Android TV scenario seems to be fraught with danger at this stage and expecting an Android TV to have the lifespan of previous TV's is probably stupid.

The worst TV I have ever purchased - Bitterly disappointed!.
Series 4 50N4 (50")Purchase this on advice from a salesman at Harvey Norman, in Sale, Vic. He said he had one and it was the best. I overheard him later chatting to another potential customer and he said the same thing about the TV she was interested in! (totally different brand) I have had nothing but trouble since buying it. Connecting to the internet is touch and go, will not log on to the 5G network, will not play YouTube for any longer than 30 seconds, then it just stops and all I get is....loading!! The remote is painfully slow, can take up to 8 seconds
... Read moreto respond to channel change. Three yrs and all I have is a basic tv with a line running through the top of the screen that goes through everything and distorts faces. Been onto the service dept, three times and each one reset the tv and said that should sort it, any issues call-back. Nothing again!. My ISP can not sort out how to get YouTube working either and have mentioned the brand can have issues and to call Hisense. If I had my time back I would not, and will never, purchase a Hisense, product again. The dumbest "smart tv" in existence
Series 4 39N4 (39")The operating system (opera) is woeful.
Doesn't have AV out (as alas many TVs these days), otherwise has sufficient ports.
Wireless connects, but that's it. Cannot access iview or similar, so all in all, a complete dog.
Hinsence 55n4 EPG tuning
Series 4 55N4 (55")Re EPG - It is a pain having to reset constantly - I have had my 55n4 For a couple of years but had Foxtel for tuning etc - Cancelled Foxtel a month ago and found the EPG annoying because of lack of memory, However I found that by manually going thru channel 1 to 15 when you go to EPG you will get most channels tuned to EPG, I think that this is a lack of foresight by Hisence to do this,
My wife has a 32 inch Hinsence Tv in her nursing home room and it remembers all the channels.

Good TV
Series 4 32N4 (32")This is my first Smart TV, (I'm an oldie and the previous dumb one failed). Setting up was no real problem and the new Hisense does all of the versatile things I expected of this well priced Smart TV. Sound and picture quality are quite acceptable and altho' I still have a bit to learn, overall I am quite satisfied with it. LL

Series 4 50N4 (50")About 6 months after purchase, Netflix and Stan apps stopped working. We bought this TV for its 'smart' capabilities but they stopped working, rendering the TV a normal non-smart device which allows us only to browse free to air channels like a regular $300 TV.
Hisense are no help as have contacted them for troubleshooting twice now with no solution. Have also contacted Netflix but the issue is with the TV's capability to host the app correctly. Hisense say this isn't covered under the 3 year warranty and will not send out a technician to review or replace.
Sound quality is also not good, gets very loud and then very soft on a range shows and movies.
If you want a reliable product, I wouldn't buy anything Hisense.

TV or not a TV
Series 4 55N4 (55")I recently purchased a 55” Hisense Smart TV – model 55N4.
I have had issues since purchase but ignored them for a while, these are;
When you press the EPG (Electronic Program Guide) button the guide appears but has no program against all channels except the one it opens on.
If I go to Netflix or any other external programs and return back to the TV it has lost all the programs again.
I have to click on every station and press OK to see the guide – 6 to 8 times a day, taking up lots of time.
I contacted your Hisense support and after a few month
Been a good cheap tv
Series 4 39N4 (39")We purchased this with Christmas gift vouchers at JB HIFI and three years has pasted without any issues at all. Picture quailty has been good but the smart functions are very user frienldy and very slow. We use apple tv any way and its price point was the reason for this purchase.

Series 4 39N4 (39")internal speakers do not have a good sound quality or depth at all. it has few options to connect external speakers.. Apart from that, the picture quality is very good, Sound quality and volume let it down . It is light and easy to move. remote is easy to use, but I have told my friends to purchase other televisions that have better sound quality, especially if music is important to you . Doesn't have Bluetooth

Great quality
Series 4 39N4 (39")Tv has great pic, all the needed smart tv features that work perfectly. Once i adjusted the settings for pic and sound to how i like it the tv is perfect. I cannot fault it.
The remote is easy. The navigation and connectivity has been perfect. I'm very happy with the purchase and the price ensured it was great value.
A good simple tv
Series 4 32N4 (32")There is nothing fancy about this tv, but nothing wrong with it either. It has all the apps you want (netflix, stan, ivew etc) and gives an ok picture. We had one small problem with one of the apps disappearing, but the customer support people were great and talked me through fixing it over the phone. I'm happy.

Series 4 50N4 (50")Very disappointed in both the product and technical support.
Bought a brand new TV, after a week I found a fault with it and for the last 3 months Hisense, after 20 phone calls, has done nothing to fix the issue. Just to pushed me around.
If I had know before how they relate to fixing their mistakes and the low quality of the TV, I would not have bought it!
Try to give a new name a chance and this is what you get. There is a reason why it's a no name brad.
Luckily the manager at JB Hi-Fi knows what customer care is and was of great help.
UPDATE: I got a replacement, same brand, brand new TV. In a few weeks same problems occurred, and I moved to another brand. Again, praise to JB Hi-fi awesome guys.
