SOunds like something may be blocking yours mine comes out normally not to fast but not go slow

It does fluctuate automatically

the freezer sits at -18 the fridge at 4 degrees, its been 40 degrees here so the freezer goes to to -17 and the fridge up to 7 degrees by the end of the day, and cools back down overnight

My frezze stays at -18c and frige always stays at 4c

If it is grey and on wheels then yes - it is to lock it in so it does not move about

Mine was on wheels for ease of moving it but had to search out the front adjusters from the place I bought it other wise cannot level it they only have two front wheels
