Just wondering if a vz/vy canopy from a ute would fit
Hi l have a VZ V6 lE0 holden crewmen 2007 Will a motor out of a VZ Holden station wagon 2007 LE0 v6 would that motor fit in my VZ crewman ?
I'm not qualified to answer your question without trying to switch the engines between them myself. I have both cars and my wagon has the better engine, so I could normally just go out the front and compare them for you, but YOUI car insurance are not honouring my comprehensive insurance on the crewman after a collision and it's sitting in a lot until AFCA(finance ombundsman) sorts YOUI out. Best advice I have is don't buy YOUI car insurance. Sorry I can't currently help you with your engine query. I'd rather be sure, than give you a response that will cost you for my error.
I just bought a Holden crewman a week ago it is a 2006 model,it has 339000 KMs, well today it started to idle badly and the engine light went on, I took it to the mechanics and he said he'd change the plugs and leads,he got his mechanic to do something to get me going today,and the car drove different ly a bit,a bit tougher, but the engine light didn't come on,do you think a new coil would fix it

I find my 2007 Crewman to be the most reliable car I've ever owned and It has km comparable. The only thing I've had to keep an eye on is engine temperature after the three years I've owned her. So long as I keep oil and coolant topped up in the car and don't get a stone in my radiator, or a crack in a hose, the only thing I expect to need to spend money on is new tyres and brake pads every few years for safety. Every car is different however, so I'd recommend getting the transmission serviced when you have some extra cash if you are concerned, to make sure you have no surprise transmission issues down the track. I was warned I may need to change the points or spark plugs when I bought the car by some Holden enthusiasts I knew, but I still have the original ones provided and they are doing fine. Crewman keep their value well as they are a good reliable car with the dual cab capacity to still have the advantages of a sedan and a number of options in the back that can be customised to your needs or profession. After owning a sedan; Things I wish I was aware of were the requirement to have a minimum of two commercial grade tyres, increased Rego. cost due to weight of vehicle and insurance being required to be paid at a replacement value of $7500 even though I talked the purchase price down to $4400. Keep in mind that this is due to the car model holding it's value well. Tradies in particular are fond of the crewman for reasons I'm sure are obvious. In three years I've replaced the tyres and brake pads once, had to pay a mechanic to replace a cracked hose to the radiator that I didn't find myself and due to overheating the car I got the water pump replaced.
