My partner and I are wanting to buy sv6 ve utes but only problem is we have herd from a few reliable sources that towing stuffs the back of the ute and wrecks your tyres because the suspension isn't strong enough and the thunder and sv6 ve utes are not towing cars more show cars then anything my partner and I have our hearts set on the sv6 ve utes only problem is we have drift track cars that we need to tow to track on a regular basis at least twice to three times a month, we have been trying to find out and hope we can come across a mirical that could possibly fix this problem so we can still buy sv6 utes and still be able to tow without wrecking our sv6 utes, we were thinking is it possible to change the suspension to heavy duty coilovers? And it this would stop the ute from getting wrecked when towing.

There is no harm in trying to put new quality shocks such as Monroe shocks or pedders shocks are even better / they will make a reasonable difference as my.brother put pedders shocks in his old school ford v8 sedan and it made a reasonable difference

You could also try buying a a totally different quality trustworthy vehicle / I have heard good things about the Nissan Navara with the 3 litre Japanese manufactured workhorse diesel engine

That sounds like it could be a number of problems / it's suggest you take the utility vehicle to the Holden Australia workshop or a quality trustworthy honest and reliable mechanical shop that's been fixing cars for at least 20 to 30 years or you could try taking it to a transmission specialist as the gearbox could be causing the problems though most likely it's something in the motor / if all else fails a auto electrician shop might be able to help you further
