Hi Chris, hipages is a two sided marketplace that charges a lead fee to use the service. This is an advertising expense. Advertisers can easily manage their spend on a monthly basis. We do not offer money back, however we also do not take any commission on work won. Our advertising also provides businesses with a profile page, providing many tradies with an online presence they otherwise would not have had, where customers can call them directly with no additional costs associated with this service. If I get work done by a tradie through hi pages does that job come with any warranty?

Hi Lucelle, I guess the normal warranty should applied if you employ any tradie thru Hipages. I am just a customer like you and didn't get any good response from the tradie via Hipages website.
Hi Lucelle. I am sure hipages won't give you any warranties, that will be up to any trade person you employ. You would be best to ask any tradie before he begins any job, what guarantee/warranty he is giving you. And you might have to pay a deposit as he starts the job but certainly don't pay it all up front.

hipages acts as a directory to connect you with a business so any warranties on the work undertaken would need to be discussed with the tradie directly.
We would suggest, as commented here, that you discuss and agree to the terms of the warranty before you allow them to commence any work.

When will you stopping robbing us hard working tradies when it comes to job leads on work that has already been completed? Why am I able to still accept a lead when the work is completed? and why do I not get my money back on my lead fee if this is the case?

They are scammers.
Oh I have, I just wrote a nice little review for these pirates.
Only been a member for a week and I've already had a gut full.
They refuse to reimburse, apparently paying for the customers details is a fair business trade. Even though it does not lead to a job because the job no longer exists.

Reaching out to see if anyone has had success cancelling their HiPages account? Cards are cancelled so they cant take anymore money but worried about the repercussions. Do they eventually stop calling you for payment? Do they send debt collectors? Reading a lot of reviews about this.

Management needs to review policy’s due to misunderstanding between us as a Trade person and your service, and pricing category and wrong pricing and information and rejecting to return our biding credited due to not feeling like or you had too much biding or we did you a favor till now and refusing to talk to the supervisor, and hearing different story every time from your young staff, Hipages become more money-grabbing and refusing to hear us, in fact, we are the one who is providing you with cash, we as a tradie becoming unhappy with your service
