Best Car I've owed by far
My Honda Accord Vti-l 2022 was purchased for a comfortable drive on the weekends and road triping, bonus that it looks sporty and great to drive. It has all the latest technology from Apple Car Play & Android Auto, also featuring the Advanced Safety with Honda Sensing. Easy open Sunroof. It has an electric transparent sun visor on the rear window that keeps the car cool in summer and protects the leather interior, the side windows also have retractable visors. Heated seats is a great addition especially on those cold days.
Being brand new it had its first service and past with flying colours. Next service at 10,000.
Purchased in July 2021 at Suttons City Honda Zetland for $38,000.00.

4 banger Accord
The Accord 4 cylinder is a noisy, squeaky affair.
The car emits a low whistle when you hit the brakes, thereby depriving you of the enjoyment of driving in peace and quiet.
I took it back to Palladino Honda in Sudbury and they gave me a Hyundai Sonata in its place. The Sonata is a much better car.
I just could not get over the noise. It was really annoying. The swap took place 3 years ago and I am super glad with the car I have now. I will write a review on the Sonata also on this site.
I only owned the car for two weeks but it drove me bonkers.

Great luxury car
Purchased Honda Accord v3.5 L. Very comfortable to drive as I spend a lot of hours driving as a salesperson. Purchased the upgraded leather seats version.
Includes electric transparent sun visor across rear window - great for keeping car cooler when parked. Rear windows also have manually retractable window visors as well.
Also ordered the standard tow bar and easily rows my 4.7 mtr aluminium fishing boat.

A worthy purchase
Really comfertable car, good on fuel and has a lot of space for passengers. The car handles really well and the noise in the cabin is rather soft. The seeting position is good, just can't really adjust the height that much, the dashboard is also really clean. Very fuel efficient.

Excellant car
Very smooth driving experience, great performance, easy handling and after 2 years i have only just started hearing slight rough engine noise.
Spacey interior with great looking dashboard and plenty of leg room.
Accord has been very reliable with average running cost. But i will say, good value for money.

Gorrell Honda Geelong
I received a recall notice from Honda. Rang Gorrells in Geelong, was told that I could make an appointment (2 hours) so they could check if the recall was needed and if it was would not be done till 2018. Not a good experience, particularly when Astoria Honda replaced part as part of service last week, and I always get a replacement car for the time my car is in for service.

Accord V6 2017 Terrible technology - Bluetooth connectivity has a lot of issues - Don't buy it.
Hi,
I have just bought Honda Accord 2017 last week and it has a lot of issues with the navigation/audio unit manufactured by Clarion. Despite a lot of people complaining about it on the Internet Honda seems not willing to do anything about it. While it was firstly acknowledged by the dealership they soon switched the tone to that it will not be fixed after they approached honda and clarion and realized that they are not willing to do aything about it.
While my phone is connected to the car bluetooth system I can't make any data call throu...Read more
gh any voip app. I had managed to find a workaround yet it does not work every time. Also for the normal phone calls, everytime you have to press the bluetooth icon on the phone to get the audio over the car system. !! Now the car is less than a week old, it has been to the car service twice and I have already a case opened with Honda 00243712. Please advice if you have the same issue so as we can take collective action if the matter reached the court.3 comments

Good car
Bought used car in 2016 with 35,000kms on it. Has big improvement compare with last generation. Love the dual big screens maker he car looks luxury, blind spot camera makes safe lane change and convenient parking. Good interior size and comfortable seats. Most mid end Japanese cars not really have good paint, mine already showing age, especially on front bumper. Has bit noise around glove box in cold days. Multimedia system occasionally has no response. All others are fine, about 8.8L/100kms, very economic for a 2.4L car

Accord V6 - Great Car
Updated current generation 4 cylinder series 1 to V6 series 2 - best thing I ever did.
Series 2 is a far more refined car and the advanced technology is far superior to the 2014 model it replaced.
Extremely happy with the V6 and 6 speed combo, I personally won't go back to the 2.4 again in an Accord and the fuel economy is similar in any case.
Android Auto working seamlessly and voice recognition works nearly every time.
After also owning an Accord Euro, both of my Accords finishings have been a little disappointing by comparison, the lack ...Read more

My fourth Honda
Love everything about my Accord. In particular the Melbourne, Astoria dealership. Tried to buy one in Geelong but they could not even organize a test drive for 4 weeks. Will always buy in Melbourne even living the other side of Geelong. The car is all luxury compared to many other much more expensive brands.

Honda Accord Model 2013 VTiLT 2.4L Sedan
May be a bit early to make the judgement on everything about it since I got it recently but so far so good. If you drive long distance, I found that ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is very useful (I paid $3000 extra), reduce the stress on long roads. I was initially skeptical on Honda fuel consumption claim of as low as 6.5L/100km H/W but after driving on Hume freeway (Syd-Melb), it got to the lowest figure 5.8L/100km (for the mid portion of Hume), Ave for the strip ~ 6.4km inc city portions. Impressive for a 2.4L heavy car. Dont...Read more
like the Nav system - old map and map too sketchy with road names, I even prefer my old portable 3.5" GPS :-( . Enjoyable to drive, like ADAS, great fuel economy. Good sound system. Old Nav map, too sketchy with info on the live map.1 comment
Just to add, after more than 6 months driving this car, I think it is still very nice to drive. One observation: if there is a huge truck in front driving slowly, especially approaching the top of a ... Read more
hill (and our car is behind it on different traffic lane faster than the truck), the Accord will try to brake/slow down since it would expect a potential unsafe collision situation. (Note that no one likes to brake upon climbing up a hill) ... This would annoy those vehicles behind us immensely. Not sure if Honda can easily do anything on this since it may compromise the real unsafe situation. I learned to turn off cruising when the situation is like this may about to occur to avoid this false alarm. Similar (automatic braking) thing would happen if you go through a dip (down hill and up hill) with vehicles in front for the same reason.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Hi, Does V6L series 2 2016 model, drives differently or awful lot refined compared to the previous 2015 one?
1 answer
Sorry, I can’t answer that as this was my first Honda, so don’t know what previous models were like. I can say that I am still driving it 10 years later and it’s never missed a beat - and that includes driving Melbourne to Perth return. Still love it as it may well be the most reliable car I have ever owned and extremely comfortable for long trips. Hope this helps. I should add that mine is a Euro and not a 6 cylinder so maybe not the model you asked about anyway! Lol....
