Absolute rubbish
This is my first review ever
I had this keyboard for a week. Initially I thought it was my new pc with the lagging and at times, can't type. I have to keep pressing the hidden sync button under the keyboard for it to transmit efficiently but it last a minute or so. Mouse is not too bad but I am planning to throw this in the bin as it's not worth passing on such a frustrating piece of hardware. Definitely should've paid a little more. This is a lemon.
Purchased in April 2021 for A$30.00.

Horrid rubbish
I had to give this one start to submit a review, I only had this on my desk for 2 hours, before I gave up trying to make the keyboard work properly - changing batteries, rebooting, re connecting, etc all failed to make it work properly. Mouse is fine the the keyboard is rubbish - and apparently lots of others agree (see reviews here).
Purchased in December 2021.

Keyboard feels clunky
I avoided non-name keyboards because I wanted a quality one, but this HP has a cheap, noisy/clunky action. There are no instructions for the extra keys, so will have to work it out myself. Do yourself a favour and either buy another brand or spend more - I will be relegating this one to the "spares" cupboard.

Don't waste your money!!
Same problem!! Mouse works fine, keyboard cuts out every 30 secs or so. HP should recall these as defective hardware and the retailers should take them off the shelfs. I'm returning mine today and providing them feedback.

+1, same issues.
Yup, same issues: mouse OK, keyboard not responding in a random way.
Mind you, have a wake-up delay issue with a Microsoft Designer combo.
Logitech combo's have been issue-free for me.

No instructions on Key Features
I bought this product and not familiar with what the key features on each side were and can't find any instructions anywhere on the pamphlet that came with it or on the internet. So basically have a keyboard which I don't know how to use

An absolute lemon i'm afraid..........
I purchased 7 of these from Office works along with 5 laptops a week ago. I was bulk shopping at the time and didn't really think you could go too far wrong with a keyboard, much less a HP brand so I bought them.
As I worked through 2, then 3 of them (thinking it was something I was doing that caused the issues) and then my colleague complained about the same issue, albeit to a lesser degree I decided the product is clearly not up to standard and I would need to return them. We are experiencing the same issues with the keyboard as the ot...Read more
her reviewers on this site. Back Space only works intermittently, typing start/stop and goes to 'sleep' for up to a minute then decides to cooperate again. etc....... On the positive side, my other colleague has not reported any issue.... so that's an 80% fail rate from the 5 keyboards we have tested so far.............back to the supplier they go.....What was I thinking? I normally check online reviews first before purchasing. Lesson learned.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Today's special: Type 5 letters, get 2!
You might think that missing every 5th letter you type is liveable, especially when this goes almost 10 minutes at a time without acting up... But it isn't. There is absolutely no pattern to its behaviour. You'll be typing a sentence (it's actually happening right now!) and the keyboard will just say "No, I don't want to type that letter... or that one... or that one... now I'll type 6 of those things because you got annoyed at me and hit the key 15 times, you can have 6 of them... HA? BACKSPACE... No way pal." Basically it'll be fine to write ...Read more
a few sentences, but then the last sentence you try to type will take 6 minutes because you essentially have to wait for the keyboard to stop being a jerk. Faulty unit? Nope. I took it back to Office Works and got another... same thing. New batteries? Nup, didn't seem to change at all. In fact it's obvious that it's actually the processing end of it (that is, the dongle and the software it must use to turn your typing into info for a word processor etc.) - because otherwise it would be more intermittent - but for example, I have typed this whole praragraph without a problem... But the next one will probably be hell. This thing is going back to Office works, not worth a 10th of the $30 it cost (I notice they have now come down to $20... but it should be $1.) I just wanted it to have the shame of being forced to reflect on its horrific performance while I typed its review.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Frustrating to use. Not worth purchasing
My previous computer keyboard was a low cost Logitech and it lasted me two years.
I bought this HP keyboard at Officeworks, Mandurah - I wanted another Logitech keyboard but they didn't have any in stock, I weighed up the alternatives in stock and figured HP couldn't be too bad. I mean they make computers...
After the first hour of use my wrist was throbbing from using the mouse. It's smaller than the Logitech and Microsoft mice and not at all comfortable to use. I also noticed some letters weren't coming out when I typed - especially...Read more
numbers on the top row - but I put it down to the keyboard not being as sensitive as my last one. By the second day the HP keyboard was missing every second word I typed into the search box on Google. I altered the keyboard speed on the computer but it didn't make any difference. It doesn't seem to make any difference whether you pound the keyboard or just type normally - but numbers are definitely an issue with this keyboard. Do not use this keyboard for making online purchases because chances are you'll mis-enter something crucial e.g. earlier today I typed the correct 16 numbers of a credit card for making an online order, the keyboard missed out 5 of the 16 numbers and then I had to go and reinsert the missing numbers.Similar opinion?
