Thanks worst mower ever
This mower is a total waste of money it has no power too cut the lightest of grass, cuts like a wet dogs tale and grass catch never fills up stay well away from it lots of better cheaper options out there hopefully they sort the next model out

Stick to motorcycles and chainsaws.
Bad cutting, poorly built, bits keep breaking and falling off mower,
Had mower for 2 x weeks and the throttle cable broke, 2 x weeks later the knobs on the handle broke, did find the service good each time I went back, but a complete waste of money, same quality you would find from lower range Bunnings mower.
I have had several husqvarna motorcycles and thought I would get the same quality.
Big mistake.
Neighbour has an aldi branded mower, amazing quality.
Sorry husqvarna, stick to what you are good at.... Motorcycles and chainsaws.

A bit worried!
Hope to change this review! Just bought yesterday without reading the reviews. Took it home and, cut the lawn.
We live in a gated community with, a lawn the size of a town house strip. It, runs but, does not fill you with confidence. I only wanted to cut a half inch off the lawn and, if i moved to quickly it stopped. I bought this mower as overkill for what i needed but, now am nervous. The shop gave a good response so, i hope to update this review.
O.K. Update. I got good service! They tested it out across the road in a field and, saw it, ju...Read more

worst mower I ever had
The mower is poorly built the chassis is to flexible and twist in which the blades clip the in sides. It is unbalance when the catcher is around half full wanting to lift the front wheels and not track properly. The wire clip holding the back axle came out resulting off skew collapses after 15minutes brand new and was told when it was getting fix if it doesn't track strait just kick it over with your boot heel. The throttle wire is jamming although always oiled this all under 8 hours use.

Overall just Bad
Wish i had of brought a Honda. This mower is painful to start, it cuts like crap, it wont fill the catcher up fully and is just generally bad. Buy something else. Seems like a poor mower just painted orange and wearing the husky badge.
Only had it 1 year and cant wait to get rid of it.

Husqvarna LC 18 lawnmower
I recently purchased a husqvarna mower because my old 2 stroke Victa finally passed away. I am quite disappointed with my choice. I find the power somewhat lacking when cutting longish grass. Also the cutting deck does not line up with the outside of the wheels so consequently there is a small gap which the cutting blades cannot reach. I like to mow with the mulching attachment in place and so far it has been doing a good job except that I have to go over areas more than once because of the lack of power. Also the inside of the wheels, especially the front right, fill with clippings thus making cleaning more onerous.
Al things considered if I could swap it for a Victa I would certainly do so.

Piece Of Crap
Worst lawnmower I've ever owned. Gutless in thick grass and does not pickup the clippings properly, won't throw the clippings to the back of the catcher regardless of how dry the grass is. With the wheels being wider than the cutting deck there is always lines of uncut lawn resulting in mowing twice.

Starts easy as, runs quietly but doesn't cut properly
a 3 year old could start this mower no worries and granny could stand next to it without the noise offending her ears. Unfortunately granny's nail clippers would cut grass better and granny's undies would be able to hold more cut lawn than the catcher on this mower. Only had it for a month and plan on returning it tomorrow, the 30 year old bolens mower I was using dumps all over this p.o.s except for ease of starting. I have a husky whipper snipper which has been great but avoid this mower. If stihl made petrol push mowers I would have gone wi...Read more
th them anyway. Updated 15/7/16. Haven't used the mower in a while since summer ended but when I did last use it was much better. The mower store replaced the carbie in it (under warranty) with no dramas and it seems to cut and catch better now. Still not fantastic but better than it was for sure.Similar opinion? Piece of Crap Stay Away
Front wheels fell of because of weak clips after 12 months mowing regular sized lawn.
Charged me for repair as stated not covered by warranty, well you wouldn't cover badly designed rubbish like this with a warranty or you would go out of business.
After 18 months axle on rear right tyre broke, guess what their response was yet if you look on the net you will see this is a common occurrence.
So much or the 5 year warranty, never buy this crap brand again.
update 5/12/16 notice the new mowers have changed the clip design for the wheels

This is one damn fine mower
Coming from someone that was a greens keeper at a golf course, I like to think I know a thing or 2 about a quality result when it comes to mowing. Although this is a step down in power from my kubota fairway cutter and toyo greens ride on, this is the best domestic mower I have used. I have had mine for 2 years now and can report that it starts with 1 easy pull every time. I have recently been using it on. An undulating property of about 1.5 acres, of which an acre gets mowed. It mows and mulches without skipping a beat. I honestly cannot fault this machine. Very happy. Once again Husqy has delivered another fine product. Highly recommend to anyone.

Still good after 21 months use
I left off reviewing this earlier as I wanted to see how it would stand the test of time. On average it gets run twice monthly. Starts first or second pull only once has it taken three pulls. Cuts and mulches well. I have probably voided the warranty by replacing the oil, plugs and filters myself, but that's a calculated risk.

Another Lemon?
I bought my LC 18L two months ago after reading all the great reviews. The first time I tried to start it, it took 3 very strenuous pulls to get it going. This happened every time. (Brand new lawn mower) and it seemed full throttle was the only gear I could mow on. Took it back for its first free service about 5 weeks later and finally was told that the engine is a lemon and needs replacing! I have now been without it for another 3 weeks and getting rather p.......off with the whole thing. They are still waiting for the motor to be delivered. Meanwhile my grass is growing.

A lemon for sure
I have never hated a mower so much as this one. I bought it on the 12 January 2015 and I have taken it back to the dealer 3 or 4 times now with various problems and get home start it up and it goes for a tank of fuel then I can't start it again so back it goes again. The last time I took it back with an oil leak the mechanic told me that it must have been tipped on its side which it hadn't and he said that it would be ok so I bring it home start it up and it once again goes for that one tank of fuel and now today I tried to get it going and got...Read more
it going but it stopped again after about 5 minutes and could get it going again. When it was going there was no oomph in the revs so needless to say I was unable to mow today and guess where I will be come early Monday morning, yep back to the dealer. There is also a small oil drip again in the front. I am not a happy mower with my mower again today, Need these problems fixed or a new replacement mower.Similar opinion? I must have u lemon
I have a lc18 only a month old. Starts after 4 or 5 pulls, doesn't cut all the grass, misses bits. Pull start gets stuck on and sounds like metal bashing around. Going back to dealer to sort or replace

Happy with Lawn Mower - Starts first time!
So far the Husqvarna LC18 has been great and I am very happy with the results. It is very easy to start. I have mowed my lawns 4 times in the past few weeks and it has started first time, every time!
I’ve always had problems with other mowers not starting first time so it’s music to my ears every time the husky starts. I don’t have to bend over and break my back starting this mower as it pulls closer to the handle. It runs well, is quieter and gives a very even cut and my grass is quite thick. It’s not noisy like my old Victa.

d mine for $499 with a 5 year warranty and the staff were really helpful. I have never owned a 4 stroke so I can’t compare the weight of it. I find the LC18 slightly heavy to push along but as long as it’s doing the job, I don’t mind. I like the solid construction and the power in the motor. At first I thought the catcher would be slightly difficult to use but I found there is a knack to putting the catcher in place and now I have no problems each time I mow. The handle is comfortable and folding is easy. I haven’t needed to tighten the bolts after folding. I wish the metal height adjust was a little higher but overall I would recommend this mower and I would certainly buy it again. I haven’t used the mulcher yet because my grass has been fairly long so I will update when I use it in the future. I researched a lot before purchasing this mower as I had a lot of worries about buying a new one. Thanks to the reviews, I was confident in purchasing the LC18. If I have any problems in the future, I will update my review.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

The little Husqy that could - Mowing is so easy with this mower
If you're not big on mowing the lawn; buy this mower. If you like mowing; buy this mower.
After getting sick of gardners not turning up, and attempting to tidy for people coming over - I decided it was time we bought a lawn mower. Initially I scouted Gum Tree, found a few options, then did further research - including this site.
After reading the positive reviews about this little Husqvarna lawn mower, I decided it would probably be worth doubling our initial budget, buying something new, with warranty (and 5 years at that with this mower...Read more
) rather than inheriting someone else's problems. Seriously, could not be happier. I just mowed through a foot of grass, and this mower powered through it with absolute ease. The only issue I had was regularly having to empty catcher. Long grass doesn't seem to throw into the catcher properly so it can get congested quickly. Although I have experienced the same issue with pretty much every other mower, so it's negligible - and really only relevant the first cut, because now the lawn is short once again, I'll be able to mulch it couple of weeks (instead of letting it grow to a foot again). I took a short video which I'll see if I can't upload and link to it in the comments.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Awesome mower
Just bought this from my local lawn mower dealership and am extremely happy with it. I was originally looking at a mulch and catch Victa from Bunnings, but decided to go to a small dealership to compare first. I'm very glad I did - for about the same price, this has a bigger engine (750 series DOV vs the B&S 500EX Series on the Victa Corvette 300 I was comparing it to), it feels more robust, and as mentioned in other reviews when you buy the oil at the time of purchasing the mower you get an extended 5 year warranty.
It runs quiet (though ...Read more
I'm coming from a 40 year old 2 stroke Victa so any new mower is probably quiet in comparison!), and cuts great as I had a fairly lush lawn since my old mower broke down. Haven't fully tried the mulching function yet - I'll do that next lawn day and update if anything is amiss. Overall very happy indeed, and recommend for domestic backyard use.Similar opinion? Ease and power
Wow, I just mowed my grass with this. That was smooth and easy! Sturdy mower in its construction, so simple to start. I haven't mowed in about a month and the grass was tall, thick, and very lush. I thought it would take a tractor to cut lol nope just an LC18.
Also my car is so little and the handles folded it fit easily in the back. Looking forward to my perfectly manicured lawns. Neighbors are going to be so jealous!

Excellent Lawn Mover
After getting tired of waiting for some one to come and do the lawns, i decided to get one after doing some research i zeroed on the Honda and the Hasqvarna. After looking at both the models and comparing prices and warranties i zeroed on the Hasqvarna, and to be honest the LC 18 that was recommended to me is just a little ripper, It cuts and mulches absolutely fine and it starts easily. I would recommend this product to domestic users who just wants an excellent lawn mover. For any one just starting to do their own lawns this would be an absolute delight.

I'm not satisfied with the lc19ap husqvarna lawnmower after 3 days what can I do please
1 answer
Why are you not satisfied Rodney? I have issues with a simple lack of power after using other mowers over many years. This is dissapointing given that this isn't a cheap mower. It was checked out thoroughly and seems all ok, nothing obvious wrong with it...

Mower is very hard to start, think it maybe spark plug but how do you get it out. Taken it into dealer three times. Starts well after they play with it but a week later hopeless. What can I do to improve starting?

Hi there Bruce
Mate - Starting has never been an issue for me, so I am unsure how to answer your question. Is the place you brought the Mower from a Licensed Dealer ? The Dealer in Petrie here is very good on the northside. Perhaps a phone call to them would help.
Just one thing, there is the little pump under the housing, do you do that around 5 times before starting ?
Dave
Thanks for the suggestion appreciated.

How do I remove the blades?
2 answers
I get mower shop to do that tipping a mower on it's side to replace blades in not recommended.
Thank you for the reason you gave. That was a good one! But my concern is that I don't seem to be able to get the bolts to release with reasonable force and am frightened to break something.!
