Accent Sports
Great performance, has some get up and go. Previously had the Veloster. This is the same vehicle with a the same motor but a different body.
Very happy, use about $30 a week in petrol. Never missed a beat, comfortable, easy to drive. Only thing I am missing is a reversing camera, otherwise has all the bells and whistles. Great value for money.

I love it.
I have an Accent SR auto which I bought new nearly 12 months ago. The SR was in run out and it had a few extra features over the Sports model like a front centre armrest.
It is quiet, roomy and solid. It is fun through the corners with direct steering, good breaks and a comfy ride.
The 1.6 has more than enough go and I'm averaging 8.4L/100km around town.
On the downside the auto is geared for economy and it feels lethargic going up hills. The cruise control can't hold it's speed going up or down hills either.
The rear visibility isn't great but I had rear parking sensors fitted for an expensive $500, but they do help making reverse parking a lot easier.
Overall I would have no hesitation in recommending this car.

Surging since I brought it brand new Aug 2016
Driving, surges at 50klm constantly
interiror OK
Reliability very questionable as this surging problem is a safety issue with accelerator movement, problem found but dealership is not doing anything about it, I advised them two weeks after purchase, they have done nothing, neither has Hyundai,
Would not recommend this car.

Brilliant
Bought a new Accent Sport model Auto. from Yarra Hyundai. A nice experience from first looking at cars to the hand over.
Great handling and power. We love it! Took it on a long drive past Daylesford with winding roads and it handled well. Compared well with the older BMW we traded. At under $20,000, a bargain!

Since I wrote this post, Hyundai rep came to Narrabri, drove my car 24klms wrote a pathetic report, saying I drive on bumpy roads, and each time i hit a bump my body veers to the left thus causing my ... Read more
right foot to come off the accelerator, causing the surging, also told me to drive my automatic in manual mode, (dont even know how to do this and why should I) my car was sent away to another dealership to get looked at, they sent it back to me after driving 13klms and putting on their computer, no error codes found, Hyundai now say nothing wrong with my car as they cant replicate the problem. Computers don't lie, but Hyundai do, 17 months old now, 5588 klms and still surging at 50klms, I don't drive it anymore don't feel safe anymore. You tube Carolyn Stoltenberg and you will see the dodgy accelerator, look to the left then midway whole compenent moves lopsided. But hey computers don't lie
