Special thanks to Reece for his patience and thorough explanation. Despite the final quote is still lower than the other company, considered Reece's effort and service I decided to stay with Youi.

Youi agent sold me a car insurance policy with Covid 19 cash back. The agent told me several times that is the price and I confirmed it. Once finalised to my shock my quote was $400 more. I contacted Youi and got passed to three different people with a promise of a call back in the next hour. 2-3 days later I needed to cancel my policy as I continued to call back and had no one want to talk to me. This is absolutely shocking service as I am yet to hear anything from my policy 1 week later. Seems like a ploy to get customers and make them 'stuck' with a well inflated quote.
When you have to claim...
I had to claim on my car insurance for the very first time in years and was impressed.
The whole claim was handled with expedience from the moment I reported the accident with them. At all times was I kept informed by either sms, email or phone

11% increase, in the middle of the Corona Virus Lock Down, a day before Easter!
Everyone is staying at home, traffic and car accidents at an 1980's level, but YOUI INCREASES ITS PREMIUMS.
We are in the midst of a WORLD RECESSION greater then anything we have ever experienced but YOUI INCREASES ITS PREMIUMS.
Billions of people unemployed, Million of businesses shut down, people are hurting but YOUI INCREASES ITS PREMIUMS.
Banks are dropping their interest rate and reducing charges, the Australian Government is supporting battlers as best it can, but YOUI INCREASES ITS PREMIUMS.
Changed ins co because I couldn't contact existing insurer. Found premiums high considering our age and present times. Had to raise excesses to get reduced premium. Our usage is low normally but didn't have any effect on premium. Could do better. reward offered was only on condition of taking up further ins.

High alert never insure your car with YOUI
We insured (Full Comprehensive cover) our car with Youi and my son hit a parked car over 2 months ago.
Both cars were write-off and I have been trying to get a replacement car from Youi without success but on the hand the owner of the other car involved in the accident told me that he got his replacement car within a week from NRMA car insurance (What a difference :-) ).
I'll insure my car definitely with NRMA in the future.
I got youi to do a compare apples with apples quote and yeah, come up with same price as other insurance company. Forgot to tell me they raised my access up by nearly 400 dollars without telling me on the phone. Very disappointing
