The ONLY thing that got my toddler back to the table
When my toddler started refusing to sit in his high chair or booster seats, but was too little for an adult chair, I needed something that was half way in between. I was introduced to this product when visiting a friend and seeing her toddler happily perched up there on her Ikea Ingolf. We went and purchased our own and haven’t looked back. Our little guy loves his “big boy” chair. We love that it’s stable (he tries unsuccessfully to rock it), food wipes off easily and still looks perfect 18 months later. Win, win.

Has the chair withstood everyday use and is it strong enough for adult use?
1 answer
For the last 18 months my toddler has used it twice a day, three times a day on weekends. Still looks new. Occasionally we’ll swap chairs, so I’d say yes, it can support an adults weight but it’s small, so unless the adult is on the smaller size they’re probably not going to find it overly comfortable on a regular basis.
