Adds another layer of moisture
The name and look of this clear water-like product puzzled me and I was rather sceptical when the Jurlique rep explained its use and purpose.
Given a few sample sachets, I tried them with great scepticism. As instructed, I dripped a few drops into my palm, pressed my palms together then pressed my wet palms on my face and neck. The liquid smelt faintly herby and felt a little sticky, but dried rather quickly. I followed with the rest of my routine - serum, oil and moisturiser. Looking up its ingredients, water (of course!) was first, followed by propanediol, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Saccharide Isomerate, Glycerin - all good hydrating ingredients according to https://incidecoder.com/. Over the next week, I took special note of lines and wrinkles on the days I used the product and the days I didn't while I added and subtracted products like serum and oil. My conclusion was the activating essence did add another layer of hydration to do its part in plumping up skin and ^erasing^ wrinkles (for me), and I bought a bottle and added that to my routine.
