Doesn't work and the claims process is atrocious. Don't waste your time.

36 days after purchase our karcher K7 handle stopped connecting to the machine. Even though we were only days past the 30 day Bunnings return policy, we were told to send it back through Karchers warranty for repairs.

21 days later we still have no pressure washer. In fact, it hasn't even been assessed for repair yet by Suncoast Pressure Cleaners in Warana. They have almost owned it as long as we did. For a nearly $1000 machine we are very surprised at the customer service. We thought Karcher was a reliable company.

Purchased in June 2021 at Bunnings Warehouse for A$950.00.

do not waste your time and money, I wouldn't even give it a star

The fancy battery control lance doesn't want to connect to the machine. All I can see it the battery level indicator when I try to activate the wand, nothing happens. The instruction manual gives no reason for trouble shooting the land connection issues, the pressure coming out of the lance lasted for about 15 mins now its just a trickle, Now I have to box it up and go get my money back. Waste of time, Completely

Great detailed review thanks. I was planning on purchasing the K7 on the weekend but my husband wanted the top range electrical Gerni. It seems to be a better quality build but only 2100psi, which concerns me. Just wondering if you considered the Gerni? Ta H

Yes, the Gerni is a little less power in terms of pressure and flow but there's only 100W difference in pump power. Given standard variance in mass products, you'd probably never notice any difference. Just go with what offers the best price/parts and warranty. I never tried the Gerni - probably a very similar unit to compete with the Karcher.

Skip the Gerni and get the Stihl RE129 Plus instead.

It's $550 has great power and very reliable. My review of it is the verified purchase.

Michelin are also am excellent brand from Sydney Tools with tonnes of accesories and a reputable name in the pressure washer industry from Italy Reverberri.

5 years warranty. Stihl has 2 years. Both great. That Stihl is 1958 psi rated and it feels more powerful than a Typhoon I just bought from Sydney Tools rated 2500 psi for $499, SO pressure rating isnt always true.

Stick to what people have reviewed as good. The turbo nozzle on the RE129 feels like its ripping into the concrete, and when used on a car it hits the paint so hard ot makes a loud metallic sound! Though not damaging the paint.

Ive just purchased Top of the line Michelin MPX 160, looks awesome, great build, need to test it. $900 from Sydney Tools.

They both pump out similar liters per minute which is more important than psi. In fact the Gerni has marginally higher l/min at 8.6 l/ min vs Karcher 8.5. The Gerni is a much more rugged/commercial grade machine with brass pistons in non corrosion metal pump whereas the karchers are plastic pumps and subject to splitting. I'd go with the Gerni anyday over Karcher. Also the Gerni hose is made of hard rubber with reinforced metal compared to plastic for Karcher. The Gerni accessories and spare parts are about half the price of Karcher. No contest in my opinion go Gerni!
